What do you like better.
I been playing Live for years but I'm getting sick of unbalanced foul calls, and the fact that your off ball players don't do shit, actually run away from rebounds.
Is 2K any better or is there no difference?

The 2k series has always been so much better than the nba live series its no even funny.

yea i use to prefer live back in the early xbox days,but now 2k shits on live, live use to be a dope series but now it has turned into shit :(

To me its always played like shit and has never been realistic at all. No matter how much I mess with sliders, it plays like a piece of shit

lol nothing in specific, just everything? I play on PC though, the graphics are a little better than 360.

I haven't played Live since I had a Genesis. The 2K series has always treated me pretty good since I've had a PS2 so I don't want to change up.

Graphics don't mean a thing to me. If a sports game doesn't play in a realistic manner and give me realistic stats, I ditch it. Unfortunately, all EA sports games are shit (with the exception of MVP baseball 2005)

2k is better then live because of the gameplay. It plays amazing ,such a deep basketball game and is MUCH more realistic then live. If your really into basketball then 2k is the game to play without a doubt

Yes madden is shit, probably the worst of all of their games because they don't make any effort to improve it. ESPN NFL 2k5 > Madden 07
Thank god 2k sports is putting out a unlicensed football game this year.

Coppin 2K7 today, I don't even wanna finish my playoffs in Live anymore.

It's bad, and I ALMOST feel like a traitor...til I realize that EA never did a damm thing for me other than take my money.
I've had nearly EVERY EA BBall game outside of NBA Street.....from Jordan vs Bird, to Celtics vs. Lakers vs. Bulls vs. Blazers, to Showdown, to Live 05-01, 03-06.......and this year, I went with 2K7 on my PS2....and I didn't care for it a whole lot....but then I played it on 360, and was blown away by it.
There are definitely some things I miss about Live, such as the freeestyle superstars....but on 06, that got way too easy, and was pretty fake at times. I think I'd still take Live 06 on PS2 over 2K7 on there...but 2K7 MURDERS Live 06 and probably 07 on 360/PS3.
One thing I used to hate about Live was the damn PG dominance...not only did it get annoying, but I'd set up a "Jordan vs. Kobe" type game, but then an average PG like Ron Harper would get 32, and Jordan would get like 6 after only shootin twice. Also, I played Live on Superstar, and I won a championship four out of five seasons on there, and it just got boring to me.

The game was pretty good, I lost as the Knicks against Dallas on rookie, but it's a whole lot more realistic than Live is, at least the other team runs unique plays to score on you. I do miss the freestyle control's and can't figure out a couple moves yet, but I got a week to get into it and see how I feel.

Yeah, please believe that it will take a while to adjust to it. On PS2, it took about 5 games before I stopped shootin the damn ball from half court, tryin to do a crossover since R3 used to be crossover.

I can't figure out that drop step at all in 2K7. I wasn't aware that they had never done a PC version of the game, so I'll just play it on XBox until they do.
