Yeah it's pretty dope for an old album. "Dank Season", "Playaz Club" "ill Be Around" all classic.

it's not "great" 3/4 good tracks ONLY over 16 if you call that great ok then it's great.... but for you

I bought this fucking album 40$ or close just because of "ill be around"   i had to resell it a few weeks after.

This is the only rappin 4 tay album ive got and i didnt know what to expect as all id ever heard before was one verse . It passed my expectations because all people seem to say on here is about how bad he is. His flow is nice throughout the album and the production is pretty consistant.

What is his best album then ?

I think this is a dope album - in fact, I love the guy's first five albums straight through. Never heard 'Introduction to Mackin'' and 'gangsta Gumbo' was a fucking piece of shit, but still - there aren;t too many rappers who have five consistent albums I can bump. 4-Tay gets props from me.

'Off Parole' is amazing. '4 Tha Hard Way' and 'Bigga Than The Game' are also great CDs.

It was a good album but I only bought the CDS for I'll Be Around. That's still a nice feel good song...

Never bumped the album myself.  But I remember when "I'll be around" dropped.  I loved that joint.

I guess the reason why people say he's wack is because he has fallen off since Off Parole came out. He was, and still is one of the very few Bay artists that actually had varsied subject matter, so that alone is enough to check out his catalog.
