Title: Barrera Got Robbed!
Post by: rik on March 17, 2007, 10:10:12 PM: I can't believe they gave the fight to Marquez. Barrera clearly won. Great fuckin' fight ruined by the decision. :grumpy:

Anybody catch the fight?

I was surprised at the judges scores, it made it seem like it wasn't even close.

That was the refs fault. Barrera knocked him down and the ref did not call time, even if the ref thought it was a slip he should have called time. Barrera even gave the ref time to say something. I admit it was a shot to the head, so the ref should have called the knock down and took the point. It would've canceled out.

So did I! That was some bullshit. Barrera couldn't even believe he lost. I thought it would have been a draw at worst for Barrera.

My bad. But you're telling me that you were goin to go a week or two without knowing who won? This was a pretty big fight. You would have heard the outcome sooner or later.
