Im on another site and there is going to be a topic entitled "Kurupt vs. Prodigy", luckily I get to submit the final DPG tracks to be judged. So im in need of your suggestions of Kurupt's best verses period. Now I have about 75% of all shit DPG publically released, but this is the number place I'd let check my revisions and guide me on a westcoast tip. [IN NO SPECIFIC ORDER]:
1) Kurupt - Da World
Kick ass way to end Space Boogie, also makes up for a lot of lesser lyrical moments on this cd. Probably some of his best verses overall.
2) Kurupt - Trylogy
This freestyle about robbing a bank, his delivery gets crazy aggressive and lyrically its not too shabby.
3) Kurupt f/ Snoop - New York New York
Complete opposite to what the first two were, in terms of aggressive lyrical flushes. This was rather smooth and twice as consistent as both
NOW, your suggesions.
Also, please do not recommend "calling out names" or "live on the mic" or "step up".

wtf? you need like
Tha Dogg Pound - Started
2pac ft. Tha Dogg Pound, Method Man, Redman - Got My Mind Made Up
and New York New York. Kurupt eats peices of shit like Prodigy for breakfast. nah just playin i'm a big mobb deep fan
-
I was thinking "Got My Mind Made Up" as well because I know if Prodigy was on that bitch he probably wouldnt be able to outshine Pac, let alone Method Man and Red Man, all while acknowledging the void that is daz dillinger.
-
I Call Shots would be good imo, even though Roscoe killed him on it
-
Just in case you don't got Started, here it is

Also, Kurupts verse on Don't Stop with 2pac & Daz.
-
kurupt never topped his verse on stranded on death row. he's so fuckin vicious on that shit daamn
-
It's a Set Up... that shit is ridiculous 8)

Kurupt ft. Gail Gotti- Rap or Death

Kurupt ft. Gail Gotti- Rap or Death
there are far more tracks then that one that displays kurupts mic skills.
-
I know but since this is kurupt vs. Prodigy it would be kind of cool to put a song that kurupt did with prodigy's influence.

I'd check his verse on "Smooth" from Dogg Food. He just fucking rips that shit apart.

He also killed Puffin on Blunts and Drinkin Tanqueray
-

I really could not get into Da World. Sounded like he threw a bunch of words together for the sake of rhyming. Nice beat though. IMO Kurupt's verse on The Hardest>Da World.

where is gangstas part two from?
i'm at work so I can't download/listen...what time period is started from?
now Kurupt's best verses, trust me homey, 'I've put thought into this shit for years:
1. Lyrical Gangbang from The Chronic
2.Stranded on Death Row from The Chronic
3.Puffin on Blunts Drankin' Tanqueray-Chronic era
4.Check out time from AEOM
5.Got my mind made up AEOM
6.Every single day -DP 2002 (btw, does anyone have the OG version of this w/Nate, NOT the one from 2002?)
there are no songs on Dogg Food that compare with those verses. even though his delivery is sick on Smooth and NY,NY, his lyrics are too simple in thos verses for your purposes. prodigy fans will NOT be impressed by "you don't wanna see me/that muthafuckin nigga from the DPGC/the K-U-R-U-P-T I'm too smooth" dope to us, not to them.
fuck da world is a dope song but I never thought Kurupt ripped it. if you don't already like Kurupt, this song will not sell you on him.
Trylogy is dope delivery but very sloppy, too many words that rhyme with themselves, the lyrics are choppy and inconsistent...dope to me, but not a good seller if you're not already into Kurupt. if you don't already like Kurupt, this song will not sell you on him.
NY,NY-Kurupt's lyrics are dope at times here, and his delivery is not up to Chronic standards, which is what you need to stick to to those these cats Kurupt is the man.
if you don't already like Kurupt, this song will not sell you on him.
PLEASE reconsider your list, please consider my suggestions. I hate to see Kurupt not get his props. My fave MC, easily.-T

same day different shit

Appreciate it guys, revising my list heavily.
Also, "Da World" is a crazy vocabulary/pattern(multi) and wordplay mix. Infact usually when artists rhyme the same word more than once its a homonym flip, it just so happens: "a bitch is a bitch/just like a bitch you more of a bitch than a bitch" is considered lackluster to a lot I guess.

I like that line too, on a sonic level mainly. it flows nice. hard sylabbles, verbal kinetics.
and I like fuck da world too, just don't think it'll turn non believers on to rup. a good example of that homonym shit is Game. i agree, shit is coo
