Post by: rakim on March 23, 2007, 11:09:40 AM: Rakim is about to mark his return to rap this year! He's been wowing people with his verbal dexterity for the past year or so at live appearances. I've personally seen him and was hype just to be there. Remember, I'm a fan. Anyway, Rakim has reportedly announced that his album, The Seventh Seal, is going to drop July 7, 2007 - get it 777?! You know, that's a great thing to hear and I encourage everybody to do something special on that day. If you are into "numbers" like me, you will get that Rakim. Remember last year how people down with Three 6 Mafia were "celebrating" on 06/06/06? That was funny, but Three 6 was like touring or something.

truth, but i don't even have all of his classics like paid in full and such, i'd have to get those before i considered a new record with producers I may not like.
