If you remember three years ago, Deathrow Records were running ads on the source claiming that they would be four new unreleased songs by Dr.Dre. But they never saw the light of day because he sued DR to prevent the release of the tracks. I always wondered why if Suge owned all of Dre's masters and could released them.(This was part of the deal after Dre left) When Dre handed over his masters to to Suge he stated, they could only be release in their original form. Which leads me to the songs tracklist that I found on the net.
Here is the list of Dre Songs:
Rat-tat-tat- Dr.Dre, VK(remix)
Ho Hoppin- Dr.Dre, Topp Dogg
Die Motherfucker Die- Dr.Dre, Dobbie, Topp Dogg
O.G. 2 B.G.- Dr.Dre, Tha Realest, Dogg Pound.
Now how the fuck does DR expect not to get sued if they breach the contract they sign with Dre, by not releasing the songs in their original form. Dr. Dre is a very smart individual he didn't want to let Suge tarnish his image by remixing his vocals with a bunch of no-names. The above promotional tracklisting was given out to various media outlets such as radio stations and magazines. I want to know what everyone has to say about this, give your own opinion. Do you think it was a good thing that we never got to hear these songs?(yes or no)

i remember the original version of Ho-Hopper was by Dre and Snoopy. now that was a dope fuckin track!

I bet Topp Dogg Raps Snoop part in that exactly the same...LoL

I wanna hear them in their original form or not at all. Those no names on death row would ruin the songs. If suge released an album of unreleased dre songs from back in 92-94 he could make hella money.

i'd like to hear those songs in any form, so if anyone has them can they please post them up or holler at me on icq, thanks, peace.

Where the hell did my post go?

I agree. I don't want to have some tainted version of "Ho Hopper" or any other song that Dre made. I would however, love to have some unreleased material if it was left the way Dre did it. I would buy any album full of "leftovers," either Death Row era or Aftermath era. A lot of the leftovers I have heard are excellent, but the sound quality almost always sucks.
