Post by: Smoke Break on March 26, 2007, 12:52:24 PM
Anyone else see this? Cool documentary that touches on a lot of topics surrounding the cars, i'm still surprised they had them nearly a 100 years ago. Check it out if you haven't.

Who killed them 100 years ago? That was simply a mechanism of the market. Steam and electricity lost from gasoline cars, simply because gasoline cars were the first to really strike the market. They were ahead of the others.

Thing is, with modern technology, the electric car could easily be resurrected. Yet there's some powers out there that rely on our dependancy on gasoline. Half the world could be riding around in electric cars now, but they're not giving us the possibility to do so. Blackmailed, to ensure our helplessness.

He also has a water welder.. It does all kinds of welds and when you shut it off you can touch the barrel and it will be ice cold.. Dude is nuts.. Id love to get that water thing though..
