i remember listening to this album years ago. i loved it then, and i can still listen to it today
your right about the beats. very mellow - it suited his style and flow perfectly

too bad he didnt continue with that kinda sound

It's very different from No Pressure (which is a classic IMO) but I somewhat consider it a Def Squad album with all of the features on there.

I've just gotten into Erick about like 4 months ago or so and have only listened to No Pressure and Double or Nothing. How was his CD after this one?

It's a great album, bumps the whole way through. 'Welcome' was my shit, great track.

As for his later solos, I recently bought Music and, apart from the two tracks where he samples old Marvin Gaye vocals, the CD was straight trash start to end. It's unfortunate, but the guy has fallen off as far as I'm concerned.
