We know he's produced tracks for everyone and thier mama these days, but what about his core artists? It also looks like lately, his focus has been taken off Eminem, we have not seen a dre/em song in a year or more (with the exclusion of garbage ass d-12). On the Wash, no Dre/Em collabo..???? wtf?
..i'm looking for another "Guity Conscience" type song, "Remember Me".....they are the best team together, even better than 2000-2001 Dre & Snoop...now 92-94 Dre & Snoop were unstoppable, but snoop has lost his intensity on the mic - example.
Listen To "G'z and Hustlaz" and "Law Low" - compare/contrast snoops vocal style. G'z and hustlaz was hard as fuck, raw vocal, energetic, tight. Lay Low is cool, descent lyrics, but his delivery is just not the same, it's to mellow, non energetic.

Actually Lay Low was one example of Snoop bringing mad energy...His delivery and lyrics were dope...Another example is Hen And Buddha where Snoop rips it up...IMO Snoop fits perfectly over Dre beats while Eminem sometimes seems out of place when rhyming over them....

5. Still Dre (snoop barely raps on this one, just does the chorus)

now after really looking at those lists from 1999 to now, who do you think has been pairing better, honestly i'm gonna have to say dre and em but it was real close, peace.

I agree. Dre & Em are every bit as strong as Dre & Snoop ever were. That includes the Dre & Snoop of the early '90s. The only reason other people don't see it that way is Dre & Em haven't done an entire album together. Doggystyle was so perfect, it's hard to imagine a team better than the Dre & Snoop of '93. But I think Em's next album could be just as good if Dre did the whole thing. Whereas if Dre did Snoop's next album, there's no way it would be as good as Doggystyle because back then Snoop was writing his rhymes with help from The D.O.C. This guy is a lyrical genius. Nowadays, Snoop writes these laid back, boring pimp rhymes by himself that lack the edge of his former lyrics. His only saving grace is his voice and the fact that he has name recognition (and he's cool with Dre). In contrast, Em is a truly skilled MC, one of the best ever, original, clever, and consistent. He can hold his own without Dre. Then you put him with Dre, the best producer ever, and it's just ungodly. I'll take Em & Dre over Snoop & Dre any day.

Honestly, while Dre is the greatest hip hop producer of all time and an under rated rapper, I must question him as a record executive. Like most of you, I want to see Aftermath take over the rap world and it fustrates me to see Dre producing so many dope beats for so many rappers outside of Aftermath (Shaquille O'Neal????) with Hittman and Rakim not dropping anything. Sometimes I thing Dre is too much of a perfectionist for his own good. I also wonder if Dre has ruined Hittman's career. Other than Aftermath fans, who is really checking for him????

This is a tought one. I'll take the duo of Dre & Snoop from "The Chronic" & "Doggystyle" days but this Dre & Em conjunction is pretty un-fuck-wit-able. "The Wash" collabos will be tight tho.
