The look on Shaq's face on the bench during that game was classic. He knew Kobe put the team on his back and won that game and series for them. He look relieved yet shocked at the same time.

I honestly did not think Shaq had the confidence Kobe could have a game like that without him in the game. That was a incredible game to watch. I would play good money to be in a game and play in the zone the way Kobe does.

::) at shaq looking jelous.....he was just nervous, he didn't want another utah jazz ending. also the initial look was the exact look phil jackson had on his face, pissed, pissed that the officials had called a loose ball foul on him when he was getting hung on like that away from the ball ALLL game (and series for that matter) by smits

Shaq seemed to have no confidence in Kobe that he would lead the team to a victory with him fouled out of the game. I know he has confidence in himself.

^ oh yeah i agree with that, i thought you meant the other way around. but remember this was 2000, they had no ring yet and shaq was justified in feeling that way (if that's what he was feeling) at that point because of all the games that had slipped away like the utah series'. also the lakers never really had a power forward that was needed back then in the west to take the pressure off of shaq, so you could also say he had no confidence (and justifiably so watching Smits shit on horry and sally) in his back up.
