Dre has said before that he likes to work with new artists and producers because they are willing to take direction. When Dre is in the studio, he's in charge. And that's the way it should be. I don't think Dre would want to work in a situation where it is an equal partnership.

...are you still writing your "2pac is a holy prophet" book

I'm writing my "snoop is god" book

He is working with Quik and I doubt Dre is in complete control of that.

He is supposedly working with DJ Quick, and if they are working together it wouldn't be for a whole album.

supossedly??....infinate, it's called "put it on me" featuring Dj Quik and mimi on the Training day soundtrack

Yo Jake what up? I thought that track was a Quik song with Dre just rapping a verse. Am I wrong? I mean Dre has done that before (i.e. "No Diggety"). Dre likes to be in control when it's his project (something he's producing), but he doesn't mind guesting or taking a back seat once in a while if he's cool with the artist.
I think the Chairmen Of The Boards could happen if Tim & Dre do their songs separately. Then maybe one or two songs together just as an experiment. Both of them like to push the envelope, so maybe they'll team up. I can't imagine what it would sound like, though.

yeah he worked wit him already, and they will work together again in the near future, on DJ QUiks next solo album Safe N Sound 2. Dre & QUik will executive produce the album.
and I dont think that tiMbo/ Dre album will haven, remember there was this EricSermon/Dre project that was supposed to come out, that never happend, Dre's 2 busy with other projects. he could produce 1 or 2 songs, but not a whole album

I seriously doubt Dre will executive produce Quiks new album

That's why I think it will be half-and-half. They will do most of their songs separately, with artists from both labels collaborating over both of their beats. Maybe one or two songs at most where Tim & Dre actually work together.
