don't think stat will get dropped, for the sole reason he shady/aftermath. He got the backing of Eminem. Worst comes to worst he release on Shady
-
3 years? Damn didn't know he'd been there that long. I've never really felt him though he can get dropped for all I care
-
he must have known this goin in
-
I've never really felt him though he can get dropped for all I care
co-sign.
i could care less about most of the aftermath roster really.
-
Bout time shit. It took a while for that shit to drop.

Your not alone. Maybe if Aftermath released an album every once in a while, people would continue to give a damn. :loser:

i dunno man, he got a few recent released tracks on the re-up, i think shady records is gonna release his debut.
to everyone who says i dont care bout him blablabla, name 1 reason
he wrote for snoop on tha blue carpet treatment, the songs he put out with official producers (dre, eminem etc.) are all fire, how can you say hes not talented? i think this cat def got skills 8)
-
I want Bishop, Dre and Raekwon albums.. for the rest I don't give a fuck ... these artists are taxes write off , nothing more...
-
im not really impressed by bishop, that free mixtape was aight, but he gotta bring more then that to make a classic, i think i prefer stat quo to drop an album, dunno why...
anyways i think hes gonna sell way more then any aftermath artist since he got the backing of the south

ANd Busta who claimed he's dropping this year too, but I highly doubt that
-
Stat's window for really making a mark has opened and closed, I feel like. I remember listening to dude around the same time before Game's first album dropped. If he aint dropped by now. . .we all know how it goes at that camp.
-
This year just started, why everbody sayin this aint comin out, an that aint comin out.....?
Shit give it some time, and where ya get ya info on this stat quo an Busta?

most likely 2009

From what ive heard of him from his mixtapes the guy has one boring flow.

sad but true
-
someone should nuke the aftermath studios. then it really would be "aftermath, and ain't nothin after that" ;D
-
He would be better off signing with somebody like Geffen or Rap-A-Lot asap.
-
Game took 3 years to drop too but at least he was griding on the mixtape scene with GUnit backing.
Stat is nothing special anways. They should drop him and then you have a dope label:
Dre
Eminem
50
Busta
Bishop
Raekwon

Yeah I forgot about Game, but listening to his old Aftermath shit I see much more promise in him, not that Stat is bad, he's just not someone i'm really checking for
-
his song 'oppurtunity' is tight
his flow grows on me
but i would much rather see AM deliver on all the shit they've promised

I doubt Stat is gonna release a record, same with Bobby Creekwater, Cashis, Bishop Lamont, etc. I would say they could put something out after they get dropped from Aftermath, but it usually doesn't work out that way.
Stat is dope too, but his flow and lyrics are really overrated. Had some dope songs/verses on the Re-Up .
-
i've never even heard bobby creek or cashis

You really have to hear the Re-Up, I'm telling you. Bobby Creek and Cashis ( from Orange County ) did there fuckin things on that! I doubt they are strong enough to release solo album's. It would be smarter to make them a trio, than to dump the contracts.

LMAO.....4.5/5?? thats soo funny i refuse to even reply with knowledge to any bullshit like that....anybody who thinks this album is anywhere near a 4.5/5 album, needs to quit checkin hiphop....or start checkin hiphop more likely...the album is horrible bar some decent joints
-
^^
G got it right there. The Re-Up was mostly wasted effort.
I'm surprised Stat has been around this long. As far as I see it dude has never had a proper buzz.
-
LOL, Em & 50 killed every track they were on, the production was great, Obie came with it, even the new guys did too. You DON'T know hip-hop to not at least aknowledge how good this was. It's not a classic, but damn near close, I like every song but 1, so that's good enough for 4.5/5 from me. Top notch lyrics, hard ass production, this shit was the winter anthem for me.

re-up is way better then the average album coming out right now ::)
