I thought the beats were fresh, and Suga Free was on point. Plus Blaqthoven killed it on the vocals!! Call me a pessimist, but I think Suga Free did pretty damn well with himself without DJ ****

Who didn't like it? I bang that shit all the time!
-
I heard it once, wasn't really feeling it. I'm gonna give it another listen.

some of the songs are there were just straight GAY

Nah man... This is a solid Album. Great work without DJ Quik on the beat. IMO "How I Get Down" is such a perfect track.
I cannot understand why he doesn't add "Step Ya' Game Up" from the Just Add Water (Advance) :'(
-
It's my favorite Suga Free album right now..."Happy", "Boyfriend (Pimpin)", & "The Ranger" are the shit... 8)

daaaaaaaaaaaaaamn, do you have any videos of this chick too??
-
you like a lot of trash son

Overall, the album was garbage and Free could have did way better then this..."Like What" is pure heat though and "Where You From" is a decent tracc too....I think Free could put out a better album then this one, without the help of Quik, even though I would prefer the 2 together, but "Just Add Water" was all over the place and had no direction....Big dissapointment from someone who's previous 2 albums and guest features, were great.

This album is classic suga free, and he picked producers who sound similar to Quik. Suga Kain, How I get Down, You Ain't Knowin, The Ranger, So Fly, Boyfriend, Person 2 Person, Don't worry, etc etc all classic tracks. The album did have too many tracks, but every single track is quality. You can tell they put effort and time into this.
But. Think about how they made this album. In some shitty assed studio in Cali. This was not a label album. Very small budget, great features, great production. This album is better then 80% of the shit released by Koch, Interscope etc. And it sold 5,000 copies. Considering hes more or less a underground rapper, this is a great album.
Suga Free fans love this album. Only the hardcore DJ Quik fans hate it.
And the features on this album are just as good as his previous. Kokane, Knocturnal, Snoop, Katt Williams, Short Khop.
Compared to his previous features: Hi-C, Chingy, Kokane, few other minor people.
And how can anyone complain about the production, vintage west coast. Blaqtoven, Morris Day's Freeze, J-Steez, Josef Leimberg. I'd take those 4 over Quik any day (after hearing "Can You work wit Dat")

i'm a suga free fan and this album was lacking. I unlike alot of people actually bought the thing and I wish I could return it. The Ranger has to be one of the gayest songs i've heard ever.
Either The King is one of the most sarcastic mother fuckers on here or he really is a tard.
-
i got it, simply cause i've heard good things about dude. plus my boy knoc was on it, along with snoop, kokane, blaqthoven etc
it had some cool appearances, but that knoc track was the only 1 i was really feeling :-\

No need to start the name calling. I admit this album isn't as good as his last too. But its far from a shitty album. The Ranger is a song you listen to once or twice, its a good track, not one with replay value.
-
it could be better, I don't need all those random singing guest appearances and jibberish everywhere
the production seemed cool but there were too many tracks and not enough Suga Free in all the songs
the only tracks I play from time to time off this are "Like What" and "Where U From"
that song "Happy" has to be the biggest piece of shit I've ever heard, I was left sayin 'what the fuck was that'
-

-
i tried but i cant get into it except for a couple tracks
-
i love that fucken album its fucken tight i love the short khop interlude
-
wack ass album...."so fly" and "like wut" and "the ranger" were the best and they were coo
-
Okay i'm sorry, I thought The Ranger was a different song.
-
..."Like What" is pure heat
Hell yeah. That song is the business. That man said "one foot on a freak, one foot in her ass/ one hand on the wheel, the other hand on the cash." There's like three or four guitars poppin off in this one.

agree
-
i really liked the album, pretty consistent the whole way through.
-
ill admit that at first it took a lot longer to grow on me then "street gospel" or "New Testament" did.. but after a while i really started liking the album.. sure some tracks arent my taste but tracks like "how i get down" "like what" "happy" "suga cain" and especially "im gone" make the album dope..
-
that song "Happy" has to be the biggest piece of shit I've ever heard, I was left sayin 'what the fuck was that'
Are you serious? That's probably my favorite song off the album, that's a fuckin summertime banger!
