50 Cent Laughs "Straight To The Bank" On Single - April 3, 2007 By : Yash
(http://www.dubcnm.com/artistimages/50cent2.jpg)
50 Cent is looking to return in 2007 with his latest album, the follow up to 2005's "The Massacre" LP. With much talk about the slow down of G-Unit's success both as a group and a record label, 50 is set to try and buck the trend with another high selling release.
We have the street single from 50 Cent's as yet officially untitled album which is set to be release in June 2007. The track, "Straight To The Bank" is produced by Dr. Dre and looks set to help build the buzz into the summer months.

-
If this is really Dre, I'm a bit disappointed. And that hook is . . . .yuck. Who knows, maybe it'll grow on me.
-
so this is the return of fifty
Im Laughin right ;D
-
love the beat, thats about it :-\
-
This is coo. The hook fuckin' sucks though.
-
not feelin this shit >:(
-
Not a bad beat, but I have heard better beats from Dre withing one year. I couldn't listen the song to the end because the horrible Ha Ha Ha Ha voice in the first hook just ruined the whole god damn song.
-
was expecting something better
-
damn. Dre sure as hell came correct with the beat, but 50 came weak in all aspects :-\
even the hook (which he usually does exceptionally well) is garbage
-
Beat was decent. The Ha Ha-Ha Ha was horrible.
-
50 Cent is looking to return in 2007 with his latest album
come on
whats wrong with it?
-
Beat was decent. The Ha Ha-Ha Ha was horrible.
yeah it realy was but the beat is sooooo fukcig crazy
-
The beat is nice. 50 didn't come with anything special or new. I think everyone knows he's a rich guy...
-
beat is dope, got some nice bass to it.....
50 is aiight - not great
hook is wack as fuck
song is not good to me
-
Average.
-
Beat is top notch.......Don't complain, this is top notch production. Very nice thumper here.....
-
50 Cent is looking to return in 2007 with his latest album
come on
whats wrong with it?
it was originally written "his third album". I just quoted it to stress that it was not his 3rd album. Some person corrected it into "his latest album".
-
beat is decent but not the best Dre beat
Alot of ppl here will hate regardless coz it is 50. Im a Game fan but I gotta admit some of the rhymes aint bad in this the hook is shit thou "hah ha ha-ha-ha hah" wack
-

it could just be me... but I swear the laughing on the hook is Sir J. Wellington ( http://www.myspace.com/sirjwellington ) the track is alright, but the laughing is pretty weird...
-
Song is dope... 8)
-
beat's hot, subject matter sucks...same ole shit
-
Average.
-
this song is fuckin crazy! props to dubcnn and Timbo for the hookups....Lovin this track !! :o 8)
-
this joint is hella average to me....like the other cats said, i was expecting way more from a dre/50 jam....wait till 50 drops his next joint without dre and some hungry upcoming producer, it will have way more energy than this jam....this aint gon get clubs bangin....where the energy at....dre came average, 50 came average...top notch? hell naww....oh this post aint coming from a hater....this is just me speaking truth
-
Hook is terrible -- the HA HA HA ::) 50 singing again ::) -- beat is ok, but I didn't nod my head -- BUT I CAN'T RESPECT 50 FOR BRAGGING ABOUT HOW MUCH MONEY HE HAS :-X >:( What an asshole.
If this is the best he has in him... kiss G-Unit goodbye :-*
-
^^ just to clarify... that was Tony Yayo doing the laughung... and 50 Cent is signed to Shady/Aftermath... not G-Unit. Also... why are people hating on the content? What was "In Da Club" about? What does DPG and DJ Quick rap about? This shit is entertainment not a fuckin' science lesson, haha. Dud drops a decent track with a dope beat that's better than half the songs out there and all some of you want to do is complain... "oh that's not the greatest dre beat ever"... "oh 50 doesn't have deep subject matter here"..... "wa wa wa".
Maybe Hip Hop realy is dead.
-
in da club was amazing, this is nowhere near....its pointless even putting the two in the same sentence....i remember wayyyyy back when 50 dropped in da club, i said there was a greater chance he would go the rest of his career not having another "in da club" type jam than there was he would....and to this day its true....

Of course it was better... I was trying to make a point about comparing his subject matter.

Your the real King around here. All us rappers we like rap about the same thing 50 does. Except 50 voice is more sing like. If you want some content in your music, listen to Mos Def or Common, if you want an upbeat entertaining track, go with 50. Why do people find it annoying he raps about money? Its funny, its entertaining.

i know i see what your saying....its just try coming new feel me?
eminem speaking about his wife all the time is annying....like 50 about his money....but this is just released as a buzz single...so ofcourse the content is gon be soft to a certain extent maybe...but its just to me, whatever the content 50 raps about, he should have came better....imo

Ehh...track is not strong at all for a main single, if that's what it is. It definitely doesn't sound like Dre at all to me....if so, then his "clones" have been making doper beats than this for a while..even though I'm not holdin that against him like that. It has a nice lil rock to it, and hits nice, but doesn't move me too much.
-
i like the song...
-
what a shit song i jsut herd it, wtf is it a joke, im goijn to the bank hahah hah ah ahha, sounds fuckin thin man,
sounds like summin that should be on a joke track or summin fuckin rediculas
-
what the fucks so great bout this beat......damn man i remember when i used to get chills from listenin to new dre beats....this shits weak, yall just like it cuz its got that westcoast funky bassline and also just cuz its dre but u gotta admit, this beats weak for dre
-
it's not bad, but that hahaha crap is wack

tracks not great. :-\
-
ok, this shit is just average. Beat is nothing special and 50 is played out.
-
someone made a good point.... a lot of people hating on 50's content
but what does your favorite rapper rap about? Impalas/money/being a killer/etc
-

C'mon man. When has Snoop bragged about having money? When has Kurupt (maybe Kurupt has, but it's not obnoxious or ubiquitous like it is with 50; and I don't think I've ever heard Snoop brag about his deep pockets unless you count "my bankroll's on swoll").
-
i tihnk most have scraped accors the subjects, but thay have other stuff to talk about, but this is all 50 has, its all he has, if he wasent rapin about that what would he be on about,
another thing y does he say, blood waslk to this, and keep sayin cuz and blood, then say hes dippin in his lambo, i dont get it
