I'm just playing, but seriously, his song "Get Your Walk On" and the video is like a DANCE VIDEO... like the Macerana...
Considering he keeps saying "Get Your Walk On, Keep Your Head Tight" and then he "Crip Walks and shows children Crip Walk" .... just watch the public go into Crip Walk phenemenon... that would be funny as hell... some old 50 year old learns the dance... ends up doin it in the wrong Neighborhood

That's crazy... I didnt even know Xzibit's "Get Your Walk On" had ANYTHING to do with the C-Walk.... I alwayz kinda thought he was refering to that old "Talk the Talk, Walk the Walk" saying....
But then I heard the remix and they're like "You put your left foot in, you put your left foot out" (whatever the fuck they say) and I just started laughin... that shit was lame... I used to sing that in Kindergarden class... I can't believe they really sang a part from the "Hokey Pokey" song.... LMAO
Anywayz... is Xzibit even a crip? Did he really used to kick it with crips? Or is he just makin C-Walk songs now cuz he's down with Snoop and the rest of the DPGC?
BTW, Jake Dogg: Mr Loc is kinda right.... Snoop and the whole DPG made everyone want to be a crip... like it's just the thing to do. Even more now-a-dayz... you hear him claim that crip shit in his songs more than ever... even making songs with Crip in the title... you wouldn't see that before. Now you have all kinds of suburbanites wishing they lived in tha LBC or Compton. It's stupid. I even rememeber a couple of months ago on this forum, someone posted this subject on whether you would rather be a blood or a crip..... Mostly EVERYBODY said Crip, without really knowing anything about that lifestyle... Why? i dont know, maybe they just like Blue more than Red... or maybe cuz they been listening to TOO MUCH Snoop Dogg/Eastsidaz/DPG.... and let it get to there head.
People just gotta realize.... that whole gang bang shit might look cool... but there's REAL bloods and crips out there that dont think it's that fun.... and take it very seriously... and 99% of them muthfuckers that think it's sooo cool... wouldn't last 21 minutes with the real gang bangers out here.

Crip Walk, at least the beginning sequence isnt a CRIP thing... its part of a sequence when you start break dancing, then you spin yourself on the grizzound.

Down here you got 11 year old white boys who think they are cool doing it...I mean basically every guy at a High School in LA does it...It's fuckin commercial! If one person in my whole school was caught not knowing what a Crip Walk was he would be laughed at and clowned for having his heads in the clouds like that...

(My Excuse is I live in the uk naaaaaah thats a crap excuse I have only gotten really into the hip hop culture over the last 4 months I used to be a casual listener now I want to learn more)

this might sound weird but i SWEAR to god...there used to be cats crip walking in ny way back in like 87 when i was there....was their ever a crip connect on the east coast or were those cats just frontin'?

all this came up a while back when 112 were supposedly c-walkin in a vid.. appparently theres a dance called "the shimmy-shimmy" that is very similar.
