Now that Notorious B.I.G.'s story has graced the VH1 screen, Bad Boy Records CEO, Sean 'P. Diddy' Combs will be the next Hip-Hop personality to be profiled on Behind The Music. The new season kicks off with P. Diddy's episode, which will go through his entire life from growing up in Harlem, to building his music empire, to the loss of Biggie, to his romance with Jenny LoLo and his much publicized court case from earlier this year.
The episode will premiere on October 7 and will feature interviews from Mary J Blige, Run (of Run-DMC), Clive Davis (CEO of J Records), Lyor Cohen, Andre Harrell, Eddie F and others. The following week, on October 14, VH1 will premiere Behind The Music: Aaliyah.

i can't believe those cocksuckers haven't made one for 2Pac yet. i can give 2 shits about P. Diddy's life. his life is garbage. ain't nothing interesting about him except for the nice clothes he makes. the rest is trash. how can they ignore 2Pac? he's much more of an icon than P. Cum Guzzler.

Word, it sucks shit that they ain't even recognising how much of an impact Pac's life story has. PD's BTM should focus on how much of a spotlight hogger he is, specially when biggie was alive.....damn joke :P

I don't know about everyone else but I'm interesting in seeing his story. He is an important person in hip hop and deserves one.
However, a behind the music on tupac is LONGGGGGG overdue and I think people have been waiting on this for a while.....hopefully it will happen soon.

have you noticed how 2pac is in EVERY rapper's behind the music in one way or another??....2pac definatly deserves one, but i guess they're saving the best for last
anyways you people dissing puffy like that need to grow up...yeah ok puffy isn't the greatest rapper and his music ...SUCKS, but he is one of the the top 5 greatest or biggest hip hop FIGURES , you can't deny that and i'm am GREATLY interested in seeing this

and puffy deserves respect, i never said he was a good producer or rapper, if you read my post it OBVIOUSLY says that, all of jay-z's albums since reasonable doubt havn't been that great, does jay-z deserve respect for being a big figure in hip hop like puffy yes, but he ain't one of the greatest rappers and neither is puffy
i don't like puffy's music but i'm not going hate on him buligerantly like y'all do cuz pac did, that's unfair
but at the same time i'm not going to kiss jay-z's ass either, he's a good rapper but he's not "one of the greatest" but he does deserve respect for being on of the biggest figures in the east

puffy gets respect for these reasons
1. he might not be everyones favorite producer (especially not mine) but his productions is still going strong and he's still being felt by alot (not by me but alot of people)
2. Nortorious B.I.G-do i need to say anymore? and all the talent he's been able to find in alot of different genres like faith evans carl thomas 112, and he's even doing it in pop music with the biggest girl group in the country dream....like that music or not you gotta give respect to all the successful talent he's brought up---who's jay-z found and put out on Roc-a-fella that has even been remotly good as puffy's best? amil? bleek? dj clue?
3. Bad Boy Entertainment-puffy is probably the greatest business man in the music industry second only 2 russle simmons, look how many businesses he has and look how succesful they are, including bad boy entertainment which no matter what has been one of the biggest lables in rap and music in general consistantly for damn near 10 years now---can jay-z make any of these claims with roc-a-fella? NO , besides roc-a-wear...and that's on Damon Dash's and that didn't come out until After Sean John
i ain't saying puffy is a better rapper than jay-z ...hell no i'd never say that

but Hip Hop is more than just lyrics and Beats now and puffy is king or one of the kings at all the other stuff in hip hop
i don't like puffy but i'm not going to hate him becuase 2pac brainwashed me too, i have ALOT of RESPECT for puffy and that's all there is to it
i like jay-z's music 100x more than puffy's but puffy gets a hella lot more respect from me than jay-z does
and i ain't seen no one say jay-z is a poppy rapper on here so i don't know where you're coming up with that but theres no doubt about it EVERY video he's made has looked like every other cash money no limit video , every single he's released is just like a ja rule song only more lyrically literate...you CAN"T deny that

Anyway, I like most of Puffy's production, though BB4L grinds me right up, and the support rappers is waaaack for the most part.
