it's been a while since this album is out, but man o man does this track give me goosebumps and shit.. true words, spittin is sincere and the beats compliments that shit perfectly ..
you feelin this track still?
-
How could you go wrong with:
"Life is much mo' precious
Than you think
Like a game'll make yo chips sink
It's so hard
Hard to trust a smile and face
When niggas got intentions already taking yo place
Keep my head up and stand tall
If I stumble, then I'll fall
Will you pick me up at all?
Will you pick me up at all?
I'm a keep it gangsta till my end
Cause some people don't pretend
And ain't too many of us that we can call friends
That we can call friends
Ohhhhhhh"
....this song is just sincere and honest! Love it.

i always enjoy it when you have an album, and/or song that you never really liked
then youd go back to it a few months (even maybe a year) later and it suddenly stands out as something excellent. its like the first time you listened to it, you just werent ready or it didnt have any effect
its become like that with me and the Eastsidaz albums - i cant believe how good Tray Deee is as an MC aswell. All that talent gone to waste
But friends is a great track aswell

I was actually thinking how their 2nd album, Duces N Trays, has got to the THE 3RD BIGGEST WEST COAST ALBUM EVER (next to The Chronic and 2001). I mean seriously, it's hard edged west coast music (with no sell-out tracks), and the produers and artist-list speaks for itself:
Producers:
DJ Pooh
Fred Wreck
Battlecat
Meech Wells
Rick Roc
Jelly Roll
Swizz Beats....and more
Artists:
Snoop Dogg
Kokane
RBX
Kurupt
Soopafly
Nate Dogg
Latoiya Williams
Suga Free
Mixmaster Spade (!!)
Mobb Deep
Bad Azz.....
AND to top it all off, the record even went to sell a million copies 8)
so how can you really argue with the fact (?) that this is a piece of west coast history? (All it needed was Dre ;D)
....any thoughts on that one??

I like the first Eastsidaz album the best too. Dont get me wrong. The last 8 tracks on Duces N Trayz sounded like leftovers to me.
But what I meant with "BIGG" was that when you look at the features, I mean thats an amazing archviement! I will be surprised if we ever see a west coast album with that kind of unity again...(well mayhap if Detox comes).

Actually this is thier 2nd album Coast II Coast. Their 1st was 21 & Over. It is dope man. I am a big Alkaholiks fan and I would recommend this one and the first one as well. The production on all their album is good but this one is probably the best in their collection.
