Although he doesn't have an MVP vote, James said he would lean toward giving one to Kobe Bryant, who has never won the award. "It's unbelievable," he said. "He's definitely the best player in the NBA -- to me. I don't know if (winning the award) is important to him or not. But he has three (championship) rings and that's what it's all about."

^^^^ Lebron said "he's the best player in the league" that means the MVP is the best player in the league from Lebron perspective ... once again the award name should be changed to "the best player of the the top 5 teams"... and without all these injuries Lakers would have won 50+ games, don't forget we were 26-13.. but don't get me wrong Dirk deserves MVP too, it's not a shocker.. he's a way better all around player than Nash

About the MVP... yes Lakers might have had bad luck with injuries and Smush, but do you think people would consider Dirk as MVP if the Mavs had had Smush as their PG and a 55-win record because a lot of key players had been injured and shit? No, of course not.

Kobe should get it we all know he wont. All of a sudden its about making your team better well if it wasent for Kobe the Lakers would not make the playoffs that sounds like the MVP to me . Nash is good so is Dirk but lets be honest both of there teams are stacked.
