Title: The Warriors - Remake

apparently the classic 1979 film is being remade, set in LA. following info is from Wikipedia (i know, don't say it)

A modern-day remake of the film is set to be directed by Tony Scott, with a tentative release date of 2008. The remake will include real gang members and try to create a modern version of the story, set in LA and without the campy feeling of the original.

It was the campy feel of the OG that made it worth watching IMO.

it should be set in NY..not L.A...
