I gave 'Waiting To Inhale' a pretty hard time on this board, and I stand my my statements. But I wouldn't want that to hide the fact that the guy is in my top 5 of all time. 'Fadanuf Fa Evrybody', 'The Dude', 'Tryin' Ta Live' and 'To Tha Xtreme' are all near-perfect albums to me.

I love the fact that he talks about everyday details that we can all relate to. Plus 'Do What U Wanna Do' is one of my all-time motivational songs. That's a track that just makes me feel like you get one shot at life so make the most of it and enjoy yourself - any song that promotes that is fucking important in my book.

His first album, with The Odd Squad - it's from 1994 on Rap-a-Lot.

"just tryna live" imo is his best album.. theres not a track on that which is skippable, like nima said there isnt much else better then smoking a spliff and chillin out to devin. :) 8)
