N.W.A Influenced gangsta rap and saying whatever the fuck u want to say
-
Whoa enough of all these polls you are puting out. On all the polls you are missing out some of the obvious options.
-
run-dmc influenced n.w.a to rap...it's a fact! but it's all good 8)
-
Too $hort - Born To Mack
-
answer: none of those
real answer: NWA " Straight Outta Compton"
-
Some of those options are ridiculous...how you gonna justify Scarface - "The Fix"? What impact did THAT album have on the game?
I'd have to say it's evenly divided between "Straight Outta Compton" (not even on there) and "The Chronic". The first was pretty much THE album that popularized gangsta shit, the second was the album that made hardcore rap into a more mainstream-accessible genre.

i would say straight outta compton because you wouldn't have the chronic without it along with an entire subgenre

I'm wondering that too, but it's a dope fucking album anyway.

that one doesn't fit in there at all. i never liked it that much. i'd rather listen to diary or mr scarface is back.
-

I like the fact that it's more of a personal album, plus he touches on real subjects instead of the geto boys type stuff he used to do(dont get me wrong, that shit was dope too) But he also updated his sound, without trading in for some bullshit, it was a pretty unique album I think. It's easily my favorite face cd.
It's completely out of place for this poll though for sure.

I voted for The Fix.
I love that album, I think it's great but has no business being in this poll.

Then why vote for it? Dumbass.
-
Sorry for not taking this poll seriously.
-
stupid question because the first hip hop album would be the most influential since it created hip hop. straight outta compton mighta influenced gangsta/westcoast rap rakim mighta influenced east coast but grandmaster and guys like that created all that you hear from the east to the south to the west.
-
everyone bites something from the WU
-
LMAO @ forgetting The Message and Paid In Full and then thinking maybe Me Against The World, Doggystyle or Reasonable Doubt were more influential ;D

obviously it would be like Grandmaster Flash. A better poll would be what is the most influential album of the 90's.
