WAY too much filler on that album.  You have 28 tracks, there are like 10 skits, and atleast 4 weak tracks on top of that.
Any album when you skip half the tracks is not good.

My guess would be that it's hard for him to be positive when he has a dick up his ass.

Haven't given it enough spins to judge it, but it had some dope tracks on it.The one produced by Eric Sermon, the one with Redman, Sweet Love...

it felt too forced. it played like a movie ina way like cuban linx, then it was layed out like 36 chambers but forced, then it mixed in what all the other wu tang members had done....it just felt too forced. i only put 5 tracks from their on my 40 gig ipod.

Break Ups 2 Make Ups! song and video were both badass. tight ass feature from D'angelo.
Judgement day was cool too, but Breaks Ups definitely takes the cake.

I didn't like the album either. The weak cuts put so much of a minor over the whole that I ended up enjoying none of it...

I agree, overall too much filler.  I can't listen to it all the way through without skipping hella tracks.

I remember when i stole this shit in a pawn shop, i thought it was dope back then because it didn't cost me shit, but i listened to it the other day and i dont even like the songs i use to bump back then. The track with redman is my favorite joint. Meth need someone to tell him his shit his bad or good, he's probably surounded by a bunch of yes man telling him his shit is good but it ain't, it's a shame cuz he's a talented rapper.

You should check that thread that has the interview w/ Raekwon.  He speaks on that - basically says that when Meth is outside of the group dynamic he really slips as far picking beats to rhyme over.  He just doesn't have a good ear for the shit and Rae says they've told him that.

The track with Left Eye was easily the best song on the album and there were a couple others as well, but it wasn't enough to keep in the rotation after the first month. My friends wouldn't even trade CDs with me if I tried to throw it in with the deal.

It's all a matter of taste. If you like it now after almost a decade from it's initial release, you'll probably stay liking it.

I ordered this CD some time ago & I'll be getting it soon & after hearing the samples from each song it seems like a pretty solid album (except for the skits). I'm surprised so many people dislike this album ???
