Title: Vacancy.
Post by: Now_Im_Not_Banned on May 04, 2007, 12:09:48 AM
Another pretty good modern day horror movie...Let me tell ya, though horror hasn't been killin' the game, the genres been comin out with some solid films as of late, and I think it's slowly creepin' back to becoming respectable again. This movie sorta reminded me of a cross between a modern day "Psycho" and "The People Under The Stairs"...I'd recommend this film to any fan of the genre, even if you are into thriller movies. For some reason, though aloof, I also like Luke Wilson over his brother...Anyone else seen this?

The ending was sort of a cop out, but I wouln't call it "horrible"...It's way more of a horror film than a thriller.

It was okay. Let me ask this. What if the main characters had a gun? This whole thing would've been over in 10 minutes. :P And when the guy kills the cop, why wouldn't another cop come? If a policeman is sent out and doesn't report back to the station, another one is going to come and see what's going on.

Yea, but they give the policeman some time to report back...

I haven't seen it, though I heard it was really good. But then again my roommate is biased, since she loves Luke Wilson. Like, a lot.
