Title: How come so many people know the SSB

watching the people across the world sing it is like WHOA! How do they know it... I know it and never sing it... i just know it, we have to know it basically... but damn the only other anthem I know is Mexico's national anthem and thats cause im mexican, even that I have trouble with cause im terrible at spanish.

hehe.. its on a lot of american movies etc.. so I guess we pick it up there too.

btw.. did u know that the guy that wrote it nicked the tune from a london drinking club song, and just made the words.

The only bit I know is the actual tune & the "Gwlad, Gwlad" bit, thats the chorus I think ???

I know it because in my old Hebrew school we sang it every morning (Same with the Pledge of Alligence), but I barely know the Star Spangled Banner, I know it's sad that I don't know it all by heart...But I know like half of it...
