for the recent beating and threats gone out to the muslim americans, this is what bush had to say, and i am proud of him and we should all open our mids and listen to him.
Bush said : "And as we do so, I urge -- I know I don't need to tell you all this -- but our nation must be mindful that there are thousands of Arab-Americans who live in New York City, who love their flag just as much as the three of us do, and we must be mindful that as we seek to win the war that we treat Arab-Americans and Muslims with the respect they deserve. I know that is your attitude as well -- certainly the attitude of this government: that we should not hold one who is a Muslim responsible for an act of terror.
We will hold those who are responsible. You'll see -- and I look forward to visiting with you in person tomorrow -- about the resolve of this government. And so, I thank you very much for your leadership on the ground. I wish I was visiting under better circumstances, but it will be a chance for all three of us to thank and hug and cry with the citizens of your good area.
GIULIANI: Thank you very much, Mr. President. We really appreciate this.
BUSH: We'll see you tomorrow.
PATAKI: Mr. President, we're looking forward to your visit. It will inspire us all. And we will be with you when the United States takes firm and appropriate actions for those who conducted this evil.
BUSH: Thank you all very much. See you tomorrow. God bless.

yup. i feel really bad for the innocent arabic people and Muslims that are being attacked. most Muslims are decent, peaceful people who want to practise thier religion in PEACE. i dont know a whole lot about their religion and culture but i do know we are all human beings.
its such as shame these situations bring out the racism and sterotyping in people. lets all try and be calm and intelligent, even tho we are all looking for an enemy, lets make sure we get the right ones.

That Speech By Bush Was The Best He's Done Yet, Becuase It Was Unscripted, And Just A Phone Call To His Friends In New York. After He Hung Up The Phone, They Asked Him About Firefighters (I Believe), And He Started Crying. That, Is The Definition Of A Man.

Yeah I respect Bush as a man. He is seriously hurt by this because he has almost broke down plenty of times. I respect him for saying that not all Middle Easterns are bad.
