Damn, a track with Slick Rick, produced by J.R... :o
Chamill + Bone Thugs should be interesting too. 8)
-
Updated with the tracklisting. Hoping it's official. Tracks with production credits are official though.
-
i thought he said somewhere the 50 track was produced by Dre... maybe im thinking of something else...
-
Edited out the fake ones then. We at least know of 9 tracks that he's talked about being on there.
-
Real OG's (feat. Bone Thugs-N-Harmony)
Produced by Play-N-Skillz
Looks like one of the original tracks that was slated for "Strenght & Loyalty." Can you confirm?
-
^yea it should be the same track, probably why bone couldnt have it on their album, maybe cham wanted it
title is either For The O.G.s or For The Homies
-
Some new developments:
The Slick Rick track has been renamed "Hip Hop Police"
Lloyd & Famous also appear on the album, and Happy P, David Banner & Kane Beatz will be lending production.
-
Knowing that Play-N-Skillz will appear on Cham's album as producers, do they have guest spots in terms of vocals (actual rapping or just a hook)?
-
50 Cent & Dr. Dre will not be appearing on the album.
-
i hope the track Disco D produced makes the cut.....Ski Mask Way beat was hot as hell...i wanna see if he was able to pull it off one last time before his death
-
UPDATED with the second single.
-
New album cover added.
-
Are u sure the Disco D tune is on the album because i just read an article on his Death that was published on the 31st of july and at the end it mentions his contributuion to chams album and says that the song was cut because the negotiations for the songs were so difficult...So it is or isnt on the album ???
A couple of months later, though, Disco's parents were forced to deal with their son's unfinished business. Chamillionaire was putting the finishing touches on his sophomore album and needed to finalize his song lineup. He loved Disco's contribution, a rock-flavored number called "Rock Star."
"The situation was so hard because of all of the people involved with it," Chamillionaire says. "His estate has to go to a parent [for approval]." His father hired a lawyer; negotiations became contentious. "So it's like a very, very touchy and tricky situation, and it just got too hard for me to deal with. I'm not trying to do nobody wrong, so I will back out of it and be like, 'Look, let's just let Disco D rest in peace.' " He decided to drop Disco's contribution from the album. Even in death, doing business with Disco D seemed a bit too complicated.

i thought he said he had 3 dre beats.
-
lol the hip hop thing to do now is to say you got dre beats when you really dont and if you do, once your albums finished...you realize your better off not spending the money on a dre beat cause your budgets already fucked
-

I guess then this was rite, since it seems the beat has been changed for the Rock Star tune...Album looks ok but i thought he'd have more well known producers on it...
-
He said in an article that this album isn't about playing it safe and he said working with well-known producers would be playing it safe so he stuck to more unknown producers or what he knows. cause the beat bullies did like half of his first cd, happy perez did like two joints. other than that, kane's just getting a producer buzz, jr rotem's huge and the runners produce for everyone lol.
-
this album is going to be fantastic i got a feelin

-
Play N Skillz almost never disapoint ^
The guy that leaked that clip always gets songs before they get mastered, so expect the final version to sound better.
-
what the fuck...the track featuring bone thugs got cut....that song was the only thing i was lookin forward to with this album, the snippet of it sounded pretty fuckin hot :-\.

After just one listen, I'll call this album of the year.
Only 2 or 3 tracks that I didn't dig.
LOL @ J.R. sampling Europe.. he pulled it off though. :D
Krayzie murdered his verse on Bill Collecta, he perfected 3-4 different flows on 1 verse. :o
-
why isnt Not A Criminal (feat. Kelis) on the album? song was hot
can someone upload rick rock beat and bone thugs song

Damn, this is a hot ass album so far.

Damn I used to fuck with Kane Beatz on soundclick. Now he got 5 records on Chamillionaire's album! Homie is doin it big.
-
Lot of soundclick producer getting their shine these days. His beats are my favourite on the album.
-
^ Yeah I noticed. That cat Apex who produced "I Get Money" for 50 is a soundclick producer too.
-
Now that a higher quality of For The OG's is out, anybody know who produced it?
