Title: 50 Cent isn't the only one using a recycled beat
Post by: Narrator on May 15, 2007, 01:46:52 AM
I've made this point in the other topic, but listen to Bone Thugs' song "Gun Blast" off the "Strength & Loyalty" album, and then listen to Cam's song "Living A Lie" off "Killa Season".  They have the EXACT same beat, don't they?  Why is this?  Well, simple reason: The producer of both songs is Ty Fiffe.  Looks like that nigga sold Bone a beat he'd already used for another major label album (not just a mixtape) and didn't tell them.

Of course, Bone sounds better on that beat than Cam.

alchemist sold 'we gon make it' to ras kass first.............

it was more about visibility, the songs gonna make more noise with bone because they in the lime right now..........as the situation is with 50/jim jones, jadakiss/ras kass..........they resell the beat because they know its gonna get more attention with bigger artists.
