It's almost impossible to narrow it down to only one.Some of the greats for me:

Kool G. Rap, Big Daddy Kane, Nas, AZ, C.L. Smooth, Redman, Q-Tip was amazing in his ATCQ days, Bsuta Rhymes, Jeru, even though I haven't heard much material from him, I think he deserves a mention here, Raekwon, Ghsotface...

no, i cant pick someone i think is the best. all have albums that i can listen to all the way through, no skips. couln't say who is my favourite.

I think it's Masta Ace... But there is so many dope rappers on the east coast.. But Ace will prolly allways be my favorite.. If it wasnt for him I would still be jumping around to 50 Cent music ;)
