It's sooo, urban pop hip hop. But, I guess you gotta give it up to the man. He's constantly killin' another rapper's record and who can be a, prolly legendary, R&B singer, with Hip Hop releases and rhythm and blues albums?

The more hip-hopish he's gone the more I dislike. He usually has a good balance either way, but I liked it better back in the early 90's when he wasn't all thugish (at least not as much). But will still end up being a legend, just for being so complete.

CD is gonna be amazing, I'm gonna save listening to it until I buy it the first day, I can't even remember the last time I did that with a CD.

he needs to go back to the days of "R" thats timeless music right there, now he makes music for the kids. not really cute when u are 38 years old he should accept that and make good music for the peeps of his age or the grown ups

Kellz is the man but his shiet is getting too generic/clubbish. I'm with Hercy, he needs to go back to the days of "R". But he's still very much relevent with todays listeners so I can't knock him for catering to his fans.

he needs 2 stop doing songs, after the shit he did everything he sings now makes him sound like a sicko

This is exactly why I hate new forum members.

For artists that i'm anticipating, I won't download the advance/retail and buy it on release day.  8)

Nice, I hope the pay off is worth me holding out an extra week, lol.  I think Kellz just wanted to do this CD to cater to a hip-hop crowd, if you've noticed, every single one of his CDs besides TP3 Reloaded, which was all over the place, has its own different sound, and I think this is the logical next thing to do, since he kills it on every hip hop track he's on too.

Is R Kelly trying to bring back the old No Limit style covers???

Anyway, i'll definitely check the cd, but his last one was weak and i don't expect a lot more from this one.

Yeah..."R." is a great album.
And that album cover is indeed horrible.

I don't think I've heard a single Kells album I liked in over 10 years now.  He still does hot singles that get added to my playlists in the whip, but not a lot more.  I agree with whoever said he should start making less thuggish, more mature shit - actually, I think he seemed more mature 15 years ago than he does today pushing 40.

I personally think he makes great Inspirational songs. I Believe I Can Fly...hey. U Saved Me...sorry but that track gives me goose bumps. The World's Greatest...unbelievable. I Wish.

I thought Chocolate Factory was a decent album. I don't think he lost it over the years though. Happy People was nice as hell. Maybe all them 'closets' but it was creative. LMFAO. Ahh, God.

I guess the homie does it all. Writes, produces, records and makes a Hip Hop album.
