As I sit here listening to Tha Last Meal (I LOVE THIS ALBUM BY THE WAY) I think to myself... why? Why did Snoop release the songs he did. This album marked a return for Snoop... so many tight songs
Henn N Budd (We know his reasons for not releasing this song)
Go Away (Tight song, better than Loosen Control & Snoop Dogg)
Issues (Definetly a Burner For Everyone)
Ready 2 Ryde (Great Beat, Eve is Hot)
Leave Me Alone (Even this song is HOT)
Yall Gonna Miss Me (The Best!)
we talk a lot about why he released this and not that, but this album recieved a so so applaud from the world and its becasue the world saw that and not this. Anyway, thats what I'm seeing.... two of his three singles were, well not beuty compared to what he didn't put out. Especially Loosen Control.... not one of my favorite beats... or songs... but its ok... the world turns and so does music.

ya, It's his second best album IMO.
It's more G funk 2 it than top dogg & da game, And more hot songs than tha godfather.........so 2nd best effort.......

Yeah, Snoop picks singles I don't agree with now a days. I think "Tha Last Meal" edged "Topp Dogg" buy a slim margine. They are almost equal, yea, "Tha Last Meal" had more funk then "Topp Dogg."

I Think He Did Right In Releasing Lay Low Actually. Its A Dope Song, Nate Coems Tight On It.

Word, but then Nate always comes tight IMO. Lay Low has a dope ass beat 2 it too.
Tha Doggfather rates higher to me, Tha Last meal close 3rd.
Obviously to Snoop the songs he didn't choose 2 release were unsuitable as singles to him. Maybe he thought by releasing such songs as "Snoop Dogg (pt II)", which I think has a certain commercial feel to it, he thought he'd attract mo' fans.

Amen To That. Nate Comes Tight On Most Songs.
