Title: why are there so many damn viruses on the net?

i dont get it? is it the anti virus companies creating them so we need to buy anti virus software?

or is it just some geeks with no fucking life?

I've gotten viruses or ad-ware really i guess, that would fuck shit up and then pop up an icon on my toolbar and recommend me to a site to buy software to remove the virus, so there's at the very least a small margin of anti-virus companies getting creative
