Snoop spreads himself to thin. Overexsposure is not a good thing. It's good to see he's making money, but honestly his guest performances generally leave alot to be desired. I can flip through the Source and it seems like every album advertisement lists Snoop as a guest artist. No big deal though, what do ya'll think?
-
I dont think it's a big of a deal or any shit...
-
I can agree with that, Snoop is everywhere always, it's like he doesn't care who he works wit sometimes. A lot of times, he just puts out a quick verse just for the hell of it. I think Snoop Dogg should worry about Snoop Dogg. Other words: concentrate on your best shit, for your albums.

snoop dogg never come wack ,n thats a fuckin fact,
since 1998 , he proves his come back.. nothing more the last meal was just a test for some style , like leave me alone... but last meal was a fan must have , dawm , of course snoop will take his time foo his album , if he collaborate n the ryhmes he used on the track are just too dope , he sure gonna keep them fo his album , so thats good if he wrote a lot , he's a workolick, so whut ::)

Exactly, he should stay away from guest appearences outside of DPG from now on and concentrate keep all the good shit to himself and make a bomb ass album.

I disagree. Yeah, I think most artists in the game are fans of Snoop, but I don't think they expect alot from him on a guest appearance. They just want his name on the album so they can advertise it and sell more records. Back in Snoops prime of 92-95, if he had a guest appearance, it was going to be real hot, but now adays rap is watered down, and there's not as much quality control.
I remember reading something were Snoop said, "Back in the day, you best believe that myself and the Dogg Pound wrote some wack shit. But you would have never heard that shit. Dre made sure that anything that came out of Death Row was the best of what we had to offer."
-
Yea, he does work with a lot of artists, but he never lets me down. Yes there are times where I think... why you gotta rap like that, but then after thinking about it... i see what he is saying and I'm like ok... and then i hear it again and totally love it... his solo's always come correct... his appearances take time...

Thas cos Dre is a perfectionist.....& u can see this when he works with artists, he brings out the best in them as he pushes them 2 their limits.
-
Yea thats a good point too.... think about all the whack shit he has written... he's not going to put it on his album, he saves that for appearances.... he probably has different lyrics in different folders like
Bitch Song Folder = Bitch Songs
Weed Song Folder = Weed Song
Fuck Deathrow Folder = Fuck Deathrow Songs
...etc.....
