Both are kinda in da wind right now, constantly throwin out hits, featuring and kinda hated. Plus T-Pain is on Akon's label. The comparison is a must.
So I ask, who do u prefer? The rappa ternt sanga or he who has several wifeys ?  :)

im getting tired of the two, i mean at first they were cool but now that they are on every song , single, i cant stand them anymore

When I think again, I guess I prefer T-Pain, he got a lil more swagger than Akon, plus he doesn't get overplayed here in Norway

akon doesnt sing, his music sounds like hes whining.
t-pain prolli doesnt sound too great of a singer either, thats probably why he uses excessive flanger and autotone.
because they both arent too talented, im just gonna say t-pain cause his style is creative.

I'll say T-Pain because he is from Tallahassee and I remember when he used to perform at my college for free back in 02-03 and was just 16, LOL.

But 4 real....Akon's voice gets very annoying, and I don't know if he's tryin to be Mark Morrison at times or Bob Marley. I think he's a bit more talented in some ways, but T-Pain's concepts and phrases are catchy as hell.

akon.... his albums are better..... he makes his own beats and doesnt use AUTO TUNE on every song

Just looked him up on Wikipedia. Associates himself with (and therefore should be placed among) Trick Daddy, Lil Jon, Young Bloodz, Paul Wall, R. Kelly, Bow Wow, Lil Wayne, Mike Jones, Young Joc... In other words: I don't want to judge him before I even hear a single song of his, but NONE of these people he associates himself with I could care about the least bit. They make music I consider extremely uninteresting (Kells might be an exception). Perhaps that's why I've never heard of dude, but based on the info I got, I'd say I'd probably enjoy Akon's music more, were it not for the fact that Akon is the reincarnation of a wild boar, which basically makes it impossible for me to display any affection in his direction (no homo btw).

As for why I'm on this message board... It's not like I hate music. In fact, I love music. That's why I don't enjoy listening to most of the rappers I just mentioned - their work I consider disposable as product, and barbaric to culture. I love good music though, and good hip-hop is definately up there.
