just bumping this for the first time this year and the production by Daz and Ivan Johnson is very dope, alot better than Dogg Chit where alot of the cuts sound unmastered, Kurupt's delivery and flow are raw as fuck even though his lyrics are hit or miss, not classic or anything but a decent album and Gangstaz Part 2 is 8)
-
ya i bought this album when it came out, definitly underlooked one of the best releases of 06 imo
-
I was saying this last year with MoSav about this album. Definitely one of my favorites from last year and it was actually mixed and mastered well. Nina Breeda beat= :o
-
Not a bad album, Kurupt shined on a couple of tracks. I liked the production as well. Thinkin this album was gonna be weak, because of how bad Cali is Active was, Gotti came through.

when I first copped this album (same day CIA dropped) i thought it was plain garbage...but i gave it another try recently and its not as bad as i thought it was, has about 6-7 solid tracks IMO, the flows are tight on Gangstas 2 but that beat is just too much for me. its way too distored and all over the place, hasn't grown on me yet especially when comparing it to the first gangstas which has a tight-ass-blunt-smoking beat...it was tha best part in the GTV DVD

No doubt, definitley the best track on the album. "Make That Ass Shake" was pretty dope and one of the tracks with Daz was a banger, I don't remember which.

Ryde and Roll is 8), Kurupt is really spitting on that one "They tryin to chew you like Hannibal Lecter, I spit lectures like Hannibal Lecter, Vicious autorials like Hannibal Lecter, Cannibal lectures like Hannibal's lectures"
