How many of you think Crooked I can blow up, I think he'll be lucky if he goes platnium. I dont think he can be mainstream enough. I only heard tha songs' Death Rizzo which i thought was ight, I aint shit wit out my homeboyz from kurupts Cd which i thought his verse was nutin special an Gangsta rap from 2002 in which he just rips it an it was tha highlight of a pretty good CD. It is one of the best verses Ive heard in a while. Suge would have to promote him like hell to make him go mainstream an sell platnium, he has tha skill to go platnium but is he mainstream enough.
P.S. CAN any1 tell me some good crooked I songs to download

No doubt he "CAN" blow up, but I don't see it at all. Deathrow is just a figment right now... seriously Deathrow thinks they will do what they did back in 1992, but what they don't realize is that back in 92, they were the creators of a sound that was never heard, people jumped on it and are still praising it now... but now however the sound is not new, its not fresh... its gonna be good, just not shocking or so amazing... as for Crooked I... he will end up being a great rapper in the west, but I dont see him getting any attention... its like Common, mos def, or talib kweli, he may earn respect, but he wont earn the game.

I did buy Last Meal and I DO like Master P as a person and a business (even tough I don't check his music). Plus he doesn' fuck this industry up, so don't call people u don't even know "cheap bastards" coz I actually BUY more cds than u can guess...

A topic similar 2 this came up a few wks back & like I said then IMO he's defo got the talent, it's jus' all bout the marketing now. If Suge pushes him hard enough he'll prolly b able 2 obtain mainstream success. Y'all can't exactly say DR ain't gonna b recognised any mo', I mean Suge has had mass media attention = DR publicity. I would like 2 c Crooked gets his props.

he rips all of those,but if he has bouncy beats catchy choruses,decent promotion and either funny or controversial lyrics then yeah he can blow up. So if he employs those qualities into well crafted singles and has at least decent promotion i can see him blowing up,he didn' even cuss much on "Gangsta Rap" so if he can keep that up on the singles and more-likely-to-be-popular tracks than yeah.peace-Tanjint

I doubt this guy is ever gonna blow up...First off he's on the Row...And second he doesn't really have the charisma to do so...I mean look at a Kurupt he's much more well known than Crooked but he barely goes gold...That should tell you something right there...And Crooked is a much doper lyricist at this point than Kurupt...From what I heard of his shit(which isn't alot)I would say he's doper than Xzibit also at this point...But dope lyricist doesn't always equal dope album(See Canibus)...

Can is the keyword and i think his album will be canned because most people won't pay attention to him... he might bust out with a first week in sales, but after that I don't see him doing better... but hey... I WOULD LOVE HIM TO PROVE ME WRONG... gimme a reason to have more faith in ROW.

Now THAT is wise. Why all the hype about a man who ain't even recorded a hit? A single hit? Guest appearances ain't shit. When Canibus first appeared, everybody was praising him, but once he released his debut EP everybody saw he's just dumb. And by the way, ThaRow won't release his shit at all. They're too bitch for that.

Kurupt was dope from 92-96, he never came wack on any joint I heard him on...But since then dude has been mad average...Streetz is a classic to me but even on that album he only rips about half the tracks...The other half is on some fucka bitch homie eat a bowl of shit bitch shit...Space Boogie is so wack lyrically the beats made that album...The songs on 2002 that are dope are ones from the Death Row era...And the Dillinger and Young Gotti album which I love Daz outshined Kurupt for most of the album...At this point I'd put Crooked, Ras Kass, Xzibit, Bad Azz, Tray Dee as the top 5 MC's in the west...
