Is the group even still together? aren't like 2 of them CEO's of that angeles label group that mitchy slick is signed to or w.e? and didn't they release an album with that "we o.g.'s" single ft. snoop, warren g, frank lee white

Hasn't Sen Dog formed a group with Mellow Man Ace, The Reyes Bros? They're on the Tangled Thoughts album on the track 'Puttin' In Work'.
-
b real got a solo album coming out soon.should be dope.
that's basically a cypress hill album. sen dog is wack as hell like cube said and it surely will have lots of muggs beats. i think b real is coming strong again. he came nice as hell on that track on warren g's last album...
i got a lot of respect for both diss tracks but everything about king of the hill is better if you ask me. the lyrics were fucking cold. i personally like it better then no vaseline.
-

Yeah Sen Dog did that, and Muggs been doin his thing on Angeles Records. Don't know about any group efforts though.
-
Apparently Muggs has just done that a song Mugg's Vs sick Jacken 'the mask and the assasin' from his new V's lp
-

that's basically a cypress hill album. sen dog is wack as hell like cube said and it surely will have lots of muggs beats. i think b real is coming strong again. he came nice as hell on that track on warren g's last album...

B-Real solo does not really do alot of work with Muggs. When he was in Psycho Realm (Another dope ass album to pick up) he did most of the beats. But some new Muggs beats are welcome in my book.
-
Great thread BTW. Yeah I was reading in the Source a couple of months ago that B-Real was trying to get Snoop and Ice Cube on the solo album also. For me CH is my favorite all time group. There is no group out that sounds like them, they are unique in every sense of the word. I never could get into all the rock stuff they would do, but I respect them for trying new things even if it would not work. They never settled for 1 sound. Bigg Paul said it and others, Temples Of Boom is one of the most innovative albums I have ever heard.
The beats, rhymes, mood, everything. Muggs was the king of interlude beats back then. Anyone remember that beat after No Rest For The Wicked for the interlude? :o Coldest beat I have heard not rapped to in a while.
-
I think Black Sunday was their best album, with Temples of Boom and Cypress Hill (1st album) close behind. Their later efforts all were kind of mediocre with good songs scattered throughout. I dont know if they have another classic in them anymore.
-
Yeah Black Sunday is dope also. I think their 1st one is the best but their 1st 4 albums are all so different but dope at the same time.

honestly i have a feeling there will be some muggs beats on it. i think that was sort of his project and i think he wanted to do something all on his own. most rappers realize they are good rappers and should leave the production to the producers. i think he'll get a helping hand from muggs since this is his first real solo album and all.
i would rank cypress hills catalog like this
1. temples of boom
2. cypress hill
3. IV
4. black sunday(i never really liked black sunday that much and i never could figure out why)
their remix album is pretty dope too.

The article in the Source said that Muggs will do beats for the album. But I'm sure he will get a couple from him. I also heard Fred Wreck is doing beats for this also.

isn't the b-real solo pose to come out on snoop's label deal with koch?
-
isn't the b-real solo pose to come out on snoop's label deal with koch?
I think he just referred him to Koch. He was talking about being the CEO Of Koch West and signing B and Xzibit but I have not heard anything about Snoop being signed to it.
-

1.TEMPLES OF BOOM
2.IV(FUCKING CRAZY MAN don't kno why people ain't like it i think it's a classic)
3.BLACK SUNDAY(COME ON)
4.CYPRESS HILL DEBUT(A LITTLE OVERATED BUT DOPE)

snoop defanitely has a deal over at koch west nah? all (correct me if im wrong) of these new snoop projects (dpg, bigg squeeze) have been coming out on snoop's label and koch. Xzibit already has his deal at koch anyway

ICE CUBE KILLA
[Shag]
Gimmie that beat, bitch! (vocal sample: "We Are At War")
Ding Ding Muthafucka
It's round two
I got my nuts and my denim, fool
You think we gonna bow down to some punk ass niggaz
We from the evil side, boy
Chorus: B-Real [Shag]
Doughboy [Killa], Wack 10 [Killa]
Doughboy [Killa], Wack 10 [Killa]
Doughboy [Killa], Wack 10 [Killa]
Doughboy [Killa], Wack 10 [Killa]
[B-Real]
In about four seconds some east side niggaz
Is gonna put the foot in the ass of Doughboy and Wack 10
I suggest you stay tuned muthafuckas
[B-Real's verse]
It takes two of you faggets to get with one of me
Now I'm running up in you hoes
With "No Vaseline"
You could be the big fish
Bring your drama
Fuck your mama
I'll bring the pack of piranhas
You tried to pull a ditty, ho
But you the one who got the alternative rockers up in your video
You get addicted
You can take your four W fingers and stick it in Mack 10's ass and lick it
Ice Cube is a thing of the past
If I got no nuts it's because they're still stuck in your ass
You're the King of punks
King of busters
King of thieves
Now get down of your fuckin' knees (Shag: Bow Down)
Start to sucking
You try to remake NWA without Dre and Ren
Dub's cool
But you're fuckin' up with Mack 10
Silly little philly
I'm back tearing'
Can you really see my machine gun turrets?
Open and aimed at your fat little frame
How can I miss?
I'll twist your cap and take your name
Analyze it
My name should be Mack 11
I'm a higher caliber MC
There's no question
Anytime you wann run up
You get dealt with
You get melted
"Check Yo' self" (bitch check it)
Ice Cube, you better tell'em (tell 'em mutha-fucka)
Muggs made the best songs on your third album (biatch!)
Shag (spoken):
You and Wack 10
Can't deal with this
Cypress Hill to the muthafuckin' fullest
Fuck y'all
So what'cha wanna do?
Bring it on, nigga
This is Shag from the Neighborhood Family
Shag's verse:
Mack 10 is a bitch
Suckin' Ice Cube's dick
But what you faggets know about some gangsta shit (B-Real: Nothin)
Let's take it to the streets
And fight like real g's
What you niggaz wanna do?
You can't fuck with these
Ain't never had a strap
Now you wanna gangsta rap
Come can't to your hood
'Cause you're scared to get jacked
Fuck peace, this is war
Everybody on the floor
When I see your fat ass
I'm takin' one to your jaw
Fuck you
Fuck your mama
Fuck your whole clique
Better yet, fuck every nigga that you're down wit'
Unoriginal
Can't stand bitch made niggaz
Ice Cube, youse an actor
Not a muthafuckin' killa
What neighborhood you from?
What don't you ever done?
When the shit goes down
You the first one to run
Everytime you talk
Got a mouth full of drama
Only missing you done
Is going to church wit'cha mama
B-Real's verse:
You got the Real-a
Swingi' of fmy nuts
Cube Killa
Break yourself niga, huh!
Give a lick-a
You ain't a killa
You a busta
Muthafucka
Bitch made niggaz
I never trust ya --Cube's "Can't trust 'em"--
Hoes like you can't figure out where you're from
Are you from South Central, the Westside or Compton?
Mack 10, the only thing you hoggin' on
Is Ice Cube's nuts
Now he's all in your guts
You wannabe like him
But you got no skills
If he's the king
You must be the queen of the Hill
But I shank the Cube's fat neck
'Cause "A Bitch Iz A Bitch"
And a bitch don't get no respect
No doubt
Westside Connections means
Ice Cube's stickin' his dick in Mack 10's mouth (Aahhh!)
All of your homies are down wit' my clique
Why you always gotta be bitin' my shit
And you don't know one bitch on my dick
But yours is best get a blood test for your kid
Only bangin' you done was with toy figures
Your mama wouldn't let you hang
With real g niggaz
Bring your clique on
You wanna scrap
So let's get it on (bullets for some chingazos, ese!)
Mack 10
I gibe you a year
I guarantee
You'll realize that you're getting' fucked
And you'll run to me
You pretty little trick
You look real sweet (Mmmm!)
I should make you one of my hoes like

Cypress Hill is dope!! Temples Of Boom is a great album!! I also liked The Gunslinger Vol. 1 & 2. Can't wait to hear a solo album from B-Real.
-
they need to release another album all produced by Muggs and Bobo on drums
-
IV is not their best album but it contains some of their best tracks, including the best beat in hip hop history, tequila sunrise.
III has the better musical ambiance and black sunday is also tight with insane in the brain, goin out like that and cok the hammer

I was reading a interview with Muggs and he said Ice Cube wanted alot of the beats that ended up being songs on Black Sunday back in the day. He said Cock The Hammer was originally for Cube but he wanted Lick A Shot and a couple others. Muggs should do some beats for Cube on something new.
