I was wondering the same thing because on that track "Got Me going" at the like 49sec mark he says "I had to stay low key and beat this murda beef" anyone know anything about that?

--Knoc released an album in january of 2006 entitled "Return Of The Hustler". I never heard anything about it being un-official. Although his label situation is very confusing. I believe he's still signed to treacherous records, but this specific album came out on sonic wave intl. It was more of a compilation album. Knoc only appeared on 8/11 songs, and for 3 of them, he only did the hook. lyrically, it was pretty average (even knoc himself at moments) and it didn't even sound like knoc was writin his own shit. Never has he come so avg, only on his shit that's sonic wave related
--Hes got an album that is suppose to come out on treacherous entitled "the book of knoc" but we know how slow treacherous operates. This was pretty much confirmed by the homie al bundy who got warren g to tell him that himself and knoc was doin somethin (and i believe warren added it was for a knoc project, if al bundy sees this, he may be able to clear it up)
--he's set to appear on the upcoming treacherous "micks tape" but agian, we know how slow they operate
--He is on the brand new released j.wells & kurupt album
--sonic wave's website said there was a new knoc single coming soon, will see how that goes
-
oh word hows his shit on the kurupt & j.wells album?
also is that album worth buyin cause i heard all we smoke and it is dope as fuck but i read somewhere majority of tracks were average
holla

he's cool on it. He sounds mad drunk is the biggest problem lol :D
both his verses are really cool (although his 2nd 1 was a rap city freestyle back in the day)
the album is nice IMO, if you can find it for a decent price, i say cop it

hey Lunatic, i'll see if i can't find out more about Knoc's situation with Treacherous because Crook was interviewed on U92.7 in Palm Springs, CA. last Friday night and he mentioned that he (Crook) has now assumed the role of Vice President of Treacherous Records according to a post over at Crook's forum. i didn't catch the interview myself, but the few people that did summarized it as such. i'll keep you posted if anything comes up about Knoc.
I have a homegirl who works for U92.7 I will try and get some info on it.

Let Shit Go: Recorded in like 2001 or so, it's a great track. Was to be a leftover on Knoc's debut knoc's landin
Watch Out: I'm guessing you've heard this. Although recorded in 2001/2002 it appeared on knoc's the way i am album in 2004
Bloow: Rumours say that this was a track from early detox recordings (dre is on the o.g. version, not sure if he was removed for this version)
All 3 tracks are great ;)
-
yeah I heard watch out fo sho, haha they tear that track apart
-
yeah I heard watch out fo sho, haha they tear that track apart
completely. And to my suprise, alot of ppl didn't like the fact that, that song made the cut for the album...They said it was dated, and you can tell it was a song that was recorded in like 2001 or so...they do have a point, but i could give a fuck, that song bumps 8)
-
that shit dont sound dated at all in my opinion, even listenin to it now
it shits over 90% of the shit that comes out these days
