Title: Curb Your Enthusiasm (Season 1) - worth buying?
Post by: CRAFTY on June 14, 2007, 03:47:15 AM: I've heard/read mixed reviews about this first season: some say it's worth the money, others say it has ups AND downs since some of the dialogues have obviously been improvised.

Some feedback of the good folks at WCC would be appreciated ;)

a friend put me onto it and it was addicting. definitely peep the first season (you can also stream the episodes online at various web sites to get a feel for the show). i've seen every episode and the show really hasn't lost any of its momentum... the dialogue sometimes is drawn on for a little while... i told my friend that the plot the show could be cut down to 5 minutes, but it's the build up that makes the show so interesting.

the show is straight comedy, and i think everyone can identify with larry in some of the situations he gets into. Word of advice: watch each show in chronological order (you can watch the seasons out of order, but a season's episodes are made to be watched in order)

I'm also gonna buy Deadwood (1st season), Entourage (2nd season) and Seinfeld (5th season) 8)
