I havent been around for a while and I havent been checking a lot of new rap...last time i checked, detox was scheduled to be out in september...is that still happening....if not, is bishop lamonts solo still on are did he get dropped from aftermath already?

nah wont be comin in september, next year at best, and bishop isnt dropped yet

Supposedly Bishops coming spring and Dre coming right after. Its cause 50 has been pushed back and I think they kinda just want 50 and Em to finish off with their final albums, and then a new era of Aftermath...

^^ There's no confirmation that that'll be Em's last album. From what I'm hearing right now, it'll be Eve in Aug. 50/Stat in fall... possibly Em in winter of this year or early next year, Bishop in Spring and Dre in Summer. Raekwon was never officially signed to the Math from what I know so far... Dre's involvement on his album will be like his involvement w/ Restless.

I think Aftermath is pretty much over with... I predict that even 50's gonna flop.

Young Buck beefing with 50 Cents but will be lucky to go Gold. 50 Will do 2 million or more if the right single goes to the radio. Detox ain't coming till next year. They're too swamped right now.

50 Cent might be the highest selling rap act this year, but he'll only sell a max of 3 million in the US. I don't see TI selling more then 50. A G-Unit group album is the only chance they have of every going platinum ever again. MOP could go gold if they would promote the album.

Detox is never coming out. It won't be out this year, and if they don't release it in 2008, it'll never be out. The problem is, it's been pushed back so many times, Dre been working on it for 5 years, it better be good. If Detox has any bad tracks, its a failure. It doesn't take 5 years to make an album, and if it does, it better be your best album.

The crazy thing is 50's going to sell a ton of records with some of the worst singles in hip hop ever.

Fuck no one cares about this stupid album, not like its gonna be like The Chronic or 2001, this new west music is different now only a couple people can still hold it down and dre cant no more, he should just stick to makin beats, to many people depending on this 15-20 track album, u think 20 tracks will hold the west down forever, i dont think so, theres more to west coast then the Detox album LOL!!
