..."So they sacrificed a lot of people’s lives. It helped a lot of people but it also gave a few people a sense of no worth, the way that some of those people were treated in that environment. Some people were used as test dummies. I remember one time Yo-Yo got sued and the Gold “Lench Mob” record paid for it. You can imagine what that did to Shorty, T-Bone and those dudes. Can you imagine making a Gold record and they tell you that your counterpart just got sued for a record that they didn’t get cleared and we are taking all of your royalties for that. Cube didn’t sacrifice any of the blow. They (Lench Mob) took a loss. There was no, “Since that happened, let me kick you some (money).” They hit the pavement. They were so much dead after that. That’s why the Lench Mob never bounced back. They couldn’t afford to do another record."
"Yeah. The Kill At Will EP was made only to pay for the “Jackin 4 Beats” song. It was kind of a funny issue because “Jackin’ 4 Beats” had so many samples, more samples than one song could have. We made that whole EP and put a couple of remixes on there to pay for that song. That was a really expensive song."
Never knew those 2 facts.
No wonder the :ench Mob had s much beef with Cube, I awlways wondered what the storty was, thanks Styles fir the info
