Title: We need more G-Funk...
Post by: Big BpG on August 23, 2001, 08:46:41 AM: Damn, the sound of gfunk is what got me into this westcoast music. Warren's albums, Nates Two albums. I don't have tha twins album(s) but I've heard their songs and I must say, I love them just as much. I'm really anticipating Warrens new album, because damn he sounds so smooth.

Anyway I reflect back on a question Dr. Dre was asked back in 1993.

I agree. And i seriously doubt that Nate Dogg is gonna make his album g-funk.... Does anybody else think that the album's gonna be chock-full of crappy guests?? I seriously hope he keeps it strictly G-Funk production & guests

I hope so too but by the looks of who he has been working with lately, he is gonna have some other people too.

anyway if you need some g-funk to keep you goin for now grab Tha Dogg Pound-2002 (a really good album that you guys are HATIN on) and Jodeci's arguably classic "The Show,The Afterparty,The Hotel"(1995)it has that old Death Row flair to an extent,Suge Knight was the consultant for it,Timbaland and Missy helped with some production/vocals and it's mainly produced by Devante Swing and Mr.Dalvin puttin the R&B sound over G-Funk like Nate Dogg,if you want a tight sample of the album download "Bring On Da Funk" by Jodeci ft.Timbaland & Missy Misdemeanor Elliot,very g-funky dope track. peace-Tanjint
