Props for the hook-up, +1.
It's OK on first listen. You can tell they're pushing for a new audience and it's not something I'd listen to compared with their previous work. But I wish them success. Phonte is a cool cat.

After reading Funk's post, I'm afraid to listen. I hope this isn't out-and-out commercial rap. Fair enough, they are trying to expand their fanbase, but existing fans rely on LB to provide that passionate, soulful brand of Hip-Hop that's all too elusive these days.

Brace yourself. lol
It's not shit, put it that way. But the beat (the drum sounds more so than the music) is clearly a stab at mainstream music. There's nothing wrong with that I guess - god knows their old style wasn;t helping them put food on the table, even if real heads appreciated it.

Props for the hookup.
I thought it was dope. It has a lot of content, not just mindless bullshit. Beat was good. I'm looking forward to see what they do w/o 9th.

It's not bad at all. They still spit hot shit, they're just different cats, they rap about funny shit too. The beats alright too, can't wait for Get Back
-
So defintiley no 9th Wonder this time around? You can't really go wrong with Phonte anyways but I hope 9th does a few beats here and there.

Dope track. Nothing mindblowing though.
I'm looking forward to see what they do w/o 9th.

They said that he has a couple tracks on Get Back, I wish he woulda stayed w/ 'em, anything 9th touched was gold

Haha...Sears was the shit back in the day. Shiyet...still is tho'...I remember that shit like it was yesterday. I can definitely relate to this jam. JC Penny anyone?? haha...WTF...dope shit...This jam ain't that off the wall. It seems like something they would have done before. It sounds different cause 9th didn't produce it i guess but I think the formula is still there. Whats the album called and whens it coming out? Is there even any cover art for the album yet?
