I think U.S.A would do good, but they are taking a young and inexperienced squad to the tourney.  It might be a surprise but I think they would do a really good job if they have the team that won the Gold Cup right now.

Peru just schooled Uruguay.  3-0, and they had a goal taken away from them because of an offisde that didn't exist.

Chile are my outside bet for the tournament, they looked dodgy defensively last night but came through in the end.

Argentina-USA is the big game tonight. Having recalled Riquelme and Veron to the squad, it will be interesting to see if either of them go straight into the starting lineup for Argentina.

You know what was funny about the Chile game, they started out in a 4-4-2 formation.  Apparently it was the first time they have done so under their new coach, because usually they play 3-5-2.  After they were down 2-1, Chile changed back to the formation they've been working on and boom finally they took control of the ball and took the lead.

He hasn't done much with the national team.  Sure he shined in yesterday's game, but keep in mind that they were counter-attacks with him vs the goalkeeper alone and the goalie messed up on two of them.

So what?  I can't analyze or what?  This is why Mexico doesn't advance in soccer, they have the mindset that all you need to do to succeed is play with heart and balls.  It's no coincidence that Scolari's teams are always either in or very near the Final in every major tournament.  It's not coincidence that Lippi took Italy all the way to the Cup.  Talent alone doesn't win you shit either, look at last year's Brazil.  And by the way, LaVolpe CAN come back.  Especially if Marquez speaks up, the majority of the players that are on the team were actually brought under LaVolpe.  The players can get what they want, especially if they keep on getting disrespected by Hugo Sanchez.  Just yesterday he bitched about how the fact that they lost to ARgentina because they only have two players playing in Europe.  What a fucking moron...how many players does Ecuador, Paraguay have in Europe?  More than two, yet we managed to beat them.  What a fucking lame ass excuse, this mother fucker thinks the fans are morons.

Exactly so you having positive thinking will have absolutely zero effect on how Mexico does.

Your positivity to my analysis of the coach and games can not be compared.

No but for some people that are actually interested in reading that kind of stuff they will read it.  Who wants to read what a cheerleader thinks?

Cheerleader huh? If supporting and believing in you team makes you a cheerleader then so be it. It's better than fuckin' crying every chance you get.

The thing is that I'm actually stating reasons why I'm not feeling it.

Have you ever seen this from me...

"Oh man Mexico lost to Argentina   :( , it's the same story every year!"

Im new to the sport, I barely started watchin this year, first game besides the World Cup games was the copa de oro final Mexico VS U.S. Dope ass sport, I enjoy watchin this more than american football..

props lol

dunga got his tactics spot on, he basically got as many players behind the ball and stopped argentina playing through them. Argentina had no width coz they were basically playing with four centre midfielders, so the moves kept breaking down and brazil got them on the break. If Riqueleme's shot had gone in and not hit the post it might have been different though.

The key was Brazil scoring first. Once they did that you knew they were just going to get numbers behind the ball and pretty much kill the spectacle.

It was disappointing to see, after such an open tournament with goals galore, especially from the Brazilians. It might win football matches, but as a spectator its not what you want to see at all.
