Title: need help wit new printer/scanner

i bought this new printer/scanner and i cant get it to print.

i put in the disk, followed all the instructions, completed the installation.

i put in a paper wit writing on it to see if it would scan and it worked and the program it come wit works too.

Everything works except when i press print nothing happens.  I tried it wit the program that it come wit and i click where it says "print" but nothing happens.

then i opened up a microsoft word document to see if it would print and it still didnt work.

What wrong???

it has ink.  It came wit 2 ink cartridges

and they both work cus to make the installation complete, it prints a test copy which is just a page it prints that just makes sure the ink works or whutever.


its weird.  it does everthing except print.  i put where it says "print now" and it doesnt to nothing or say anything.

the printer is a lexmark x1270.  it was like 40 bucks at walmart.
