Title: The Ramones > The Beatles
Post by: Sweet & Tender Hooligan on June 30, 2007, 07:59:12 PM
Now obviously im not talking about impact on the music industry as the beatles are the main influence of my favourite ever band (oasis) but talking about raw talent IMO The Ramones are far superior. And i also mean the OG lineup of Johnny, Joey, Tommy and Dee Dee. Anyone agree/disagree/give a fuck?

Hey, just my opinon. Im a huge beatles fan and maybe im just saying this coz iv been listening to the Ramones a lot lately, that ever happen 2 neone? They start listening to a band/artist and you kinda come 2 a decision that there the greatest ever, then your opinion changes the next week. lol But just in my honest opinion, a Ramones greatest hits compilation would be on a par with a beatles one. IMO from that era The Ramones > The Beatles > The Sex Pistols > The Clash > The rest

I've had that feeling. I was feeling that about Michael Jackson lately, but I've been bumping Al Green since and shit is impressing me even more. it's all about where you're at in your life when the music hits you.
