Title: Worst feature on a DPG track
Post by: MIAMI4LIFE on July 02, 2007, 06:16:12 AM
I don't know if alot of people have heard it cause it was on Last Of Tha Pound but the track "Got To Get It Get It" with Foxy Brown, damn that shit was awful

Puffy

I actually didn't think Puffy was terrible on that, thought Foxy's verse was just awful on that Last Of Tha Pound track

Yeah that Foxy shit was wack... and yeah the Puffy joint wasn't everyone's cup of tea, granted, but that it was way better than Gotta Get It Get It

Yeah Foxy's was bad, but for me Puffy just did not fit on that song. It's funny because DPG never has alot of features and the ones they do have are pretty good for the most part.

yeah I know what your sayin, CIA had a few of those awkward collabos the Puffy, David Banner, Paul Wall even though I thought those songs were not that bad overall, Paul Wall was pretty tight I thought

The beat on that song was different. It hits in a system but it seemed more like a Paul Wall song then a DPG song.

I speak my mind, I don't care if you kids agree. I think Daz sucks now, and all his verses and flows are the same. He lost his talent somewhere down the line. It's a shame. He sounds like hes shouting on every track.

hating on daz? he's not the best rapper by any means but he can more then carry a track. he's way more consistent on the mic then kurupt although nowhere near kurupt when he's really spitting.

I don't understand the Daz hating the only problem I have with him is when he has that screaming flow but other than that he is pretty dope these days, that Foxy track was the worst her verse was godawful, Kurupt killed that track tho

It's a opinion at the end of the day. If King feels that way, it's on him. IMO Daz has more than stepped up on tracks and sometimes he gets lazy with the rhymes. So do alot of other rappers.

I say Paul Wall, that was so fuckin wack. Diddy was cool on "It'z Craccin All Nite" one of my fav tracks on the album. And, yeah, Daz sounds the same on every track now, but he's still able to entertain my ears, and that's enough. I don't need deep lyrics from daz.

I totally co-sign the Paul Wall statement... Honestly though sometimes Paul comes through decent (in my opinion), but the track they did with him was horrible. I'm sick of those kind of songs, I would have thought it should have been a more "flow based" up-beat track.
