The NBA announced today that Stephen Jackson of the Golden State Warriors has been suspended without pay for seven games for pleading guilty to criminal recklessness, in violation of the law of the State of Indiana, and Ron Artest of the Sacramento Kings has been suspended without pay for seven games for pleading nolo contendre to infliction of injury on a spouse, in violation of the law of the State of California.
Both suspensions will commence with the first game of the 2007-08 NBA regular season.
Is this the first time that players have been suspended BEFORE the season started?

Yeah and he was great in the playoffs. Lets see if his game carries over to the regular season. Hopefully this won't make us start with a 0-7 record haha.

he was fuckin great against the dallas faggots, but he was really slowed down in the utah serious. AK-47 had him on locked down.
he brings a "not giving a fuck attitude" which sometimes hurts the team, but i think is much needed for thier toughness and defense. he was a GREAT pick up for us.

he's such a bastard, most dallas players were scared of him :-\
