Damn everybody talking like he's the greatest but to me he's mad overrated...He's got a whole city on his dick(N.Y.) and now he's got little girls singing his nursery rhymes...Dude spits some simple ass shit half the time...Reasonable Doubt was dope, but ever since then his albums have gotten worst IMO...And who the fuck does he think he is saying Nas don't want it with Hov...I mean Nas ain't no battle rapper but when it comes to pure lyricists Hov don't want it with Nas...

I agree that he's overrated, but he got mad lyrics most of the time, but he's become one of those rappers that depend on mainstream & it's jus' takin' the originality outta his material.

I think Jigga is overated but nobody can deny he's got skill, im not a fan but i can see he has mic skills but people plain hate on him because of his mainstream status...

i used to hate him but now i don't mind him...The Blueprint sounds like a dope album so i'm probably gonna cop it! Jigga got skills on the mic no doubt...the Source will probably give The Blueprint 5 mics...

Hell yea he's overrated. To call him the greatest ever is just ABSURD. He is nowhere near the caliber of MC's such as GZA, Method Man, Biggie, KRS One, and the greatest of them all, the late/great 2Pac Shakur.

i think Jigga deserves to be in the G.O.A.T. category cause he has definitely been ruling HIP HOP since he dropped the Hard Knock Life album...he has the lyrical talent and an arguable CLASSIC album under his belt...he definitely has the IMPACT with all these wanna-be's coming out copying his style...

i sure do, everybody outside N.Y think , nawwww joke but most people think that, but nowadays u can't really ad some madd ass rhyme naww mean if u do , hater gonna say u bite this from him or you bite this from her, fuck that bullshit.....even here , people say that snoop got so simple rhyme , but most off u can't even rhyme like him so , that why i shout my mouth off, i got respect for every rapper in the game fo what they do but i prefer some more than others , this is what i got to say bout it....

He's definetly over-rated without a doubt, and i wouldnt be surprised if they gave The Blueprints 5 mics, cuz they gave The Dynasty 4 1/2 mics and i should've only gotten like 3 1/2 at the very most...The Source and BET always be on his nuts, but he's got the game locked down, i was listenin to the radio today and i heard about 10 or 11 different Jay-z/Roc-a songs...I still like most of his shit and all but he is definetly over-rated...

Yeah... I agree with most of that. I aint a Jay Z fan at all... I dont own ANY of his albums and never even HEARD his first or last cd.... But I recognize what he's done.. he's on top. His rhymes aint as simple as you all make them sound. He climbed to the top... it's not like he just appeared out of nowhere and blew up. And not only is he on top, but he's been able to stay up there for a couple yearz.... not too many rappers can say that.
What's tha deal with all this bitterness? All of you just need to give credit where credit is due... he's not overrated... he's overhated.. and you should really kick back with all that... cuz it aint gonna get you anywhere.

sometimes he gets too many props i agree...but its one thing saying jay aint one of the best of all time (i dont agree but its your oppinion and i can respect it ) but to say "he cant compare toi people like method man" is silly....
methods man is NOTHING compared to jay z ....anyone will tell you that i am a HUGE wu head but meth is so overated as an emcee...i suggest you listen a little closer to meth's lyrics and youll see him for what he really is, a rapper with a cool voice and nice flow but very little substance.

Ooooo man u got internet balls. That maybe your oppinion an' all but IMO Pac hardly gets more recognition than he deserves. He IS a legend/revolutionary in this game & the recognition he gets is jus' the musical truth.
