You guys think he's gonna get to 3,000 when it's all said and done?
-
Well, he's 37 now, turns 38 in November. He's averaged 153 hits a year in his career. He's gotta play another 3 years after this at least.
I think he'll end up a little shy of it.
-
I want him to get it, he seems like a cool dude. And if it wasn't for all the injuries who knows how many home runs he would have.
-
propz to griff. the amazing Bonds has over 2900 hits while having the most walks in mlb history lol that is just stupid
-
I think Griff will get 3k. Its just mind blowing to think what might have been if he hadn't lost over 3 seasons of his career due to injuries. I'm glad he's had a good year, and hope he has a few more good ones.
-
maybe i don't know it depends on how long he plays and if he wants that or not. i think he has a shot though. he's still swattin them
-
If he plays 4 more years (a stretch i know, but it would put him at Bonds age) he could POSSIBLY get closed to Aarons record. He will probably finish this season over 600 homers for his career. Pretty amazing considering his injuries during his career. If it werent for all the games missed he'd be on pace to crush Aarons record.
