WC trying to sign Maylay? :o

WC trying to sign Maylay? :o
to be honest, i hope he doesn't (unless his label got a distribution deal with cube's) because i REALLY want a maylay album, and i'm not sure Dub would drop it :-\
-
Maylay is dope... i should up that track that he and Problem dropped about a year/year and a half ago..

He absolutely MURDERED that Rat Pack song on CT Experience. San Andreas mixtape was dope too. He sent me a autographed copy of one when I ordered it from MySpace.

alright then, i hope he does sign him lol...I like how lench mob doesn't over-grow there roster with a bunch of useless artists that will never drop an albium anyway (*cough gunit cough*)...Keep it short & simple, and give us albums from the artists u sign

I think when Cube first decided to go indie, it was just for himself. But once WC got involved, he wanted to create a good situation label wise for him so he signed him to the label. WC has Tha Trapp, so he is also starting off small, but signing Maylay would be a nice pickup. I like the adversting Cube is doing also for his projects and WC's. It will be interesting to see if that same effort is done for Tha Trapp.

Yea, I think so as well...Hopefully tha trapp gets the same promotion, as well as maylay if he decides to sign with Dub...I think it would be a good look for him, now knowing lench mob does the distribution
-
And I think Lench Mob has a worldwide direct distribution deal through EMI or Virgin I believe. I know it is a major distribution company so it would definitely be out in alot of stores for both Maylay and Tha Trapp.
-
Nice interview. Canīt wait on the album

It's too bad Sir Jinx never videotaped any of those battles and practices at his garage... that was the hangout spot for Cube, Dre, Candyman, WC and more...

Yeah that would have been something. This WC album is starting to get quite a buzz.

i remember back some time when Dub first started on this album, me and my homeboy Bino met him and Tha Trapp at Paramount Studios. He was asking our honest opinion of what we wanted to hear from him on this upcoming album... We were like "just come with the lyrics and come real from the heart".... he didnt just nod his head... he had a full discussion with us about it..

You can tell WC is in a good space as far as being indie and having control over what he wants to do with his project. This gives him the opportunity to get and give feedback and actually put it to the studio or to the pen and pad. Just like the flyers and poster say, Damn It Feels Good To Be Independent,
-
Damn... didn't see your post because i was out sick....
But yeah, just in talking to Dub back then and recently with this interview, you can tell that he's relaxed but at the same time geared up for action, like this is THEE album that he wanted to make. One of the perks of Independence...
-
Great for WC...I am get the feeling that he is enjoying making this album much more than he did the ghetto heisman, and even more then all his other projects...And when you're really enjoying make an album, the turnout is always dope 8)
-
Fuck yeah man.... No A & R's trying to dick around... Not being worried about making Radio cuts that fit the current mold... Even though Indie has it's own trials, it's got to also beat being on a leash by the label...
